How about posting a typical daily intake of food? Knowing your caloric intake doesn't really do us much good, just tells us you are under nourishing your body.

There are many ways to increase caloric intake healthily...and it sounds like something you will want to investigate.

And try to stay away from such intensive aerobic exercise until you increase your intake to over 2000 calories.

We have dropped the original problem, but I really think you should be talking to your doctor about that headache and your overall weight-gaining goals. he or she can work with you to determine what would be the safest way to get you in better shape. Also check you for diabetes or other diseases...as your strange caloric intake and aversion to eating might be a symptom of something far worse. Forcing yourself to eat is neither healthy or normal.

Is that Jif?

Blasphemer! Skippy is the way to go.

Dude, serious weight problem you've got there :p (unless your like 15-16, than it's kinda normal).
You've got a BMI of 16.3 XD, underweight is 18.5 :p (for adults)
Penut butter is a start but add some polysaccharides on you diet too (spaghetti, bread, potato's). Only eating fat might result in weight loss instead of weight gaining (Atkinson diet) + nearly all the fastfood contains (unhealthy) heigh values of saturated fat, which can result in high cholesterol levels, which can result in heart attacks or vascular diseases (long therm problem that is).
I don't think the headaches are a result of low sugar values in your blood. When you're low on sugar while exercising, you'll feel dizzy from time to time. Ever had issues with fainting, just because you stood up, or everything turning black when standing up after lying down for a long time?

If your problem persists, I suggest going to a GP and getting your blood tested on deficiencies.

I do get dizzy/blackout from time to time. I got my blood checked for an unrelated issue(I'm allergic to the sun and they were checking for lupus), and there wasn't anything wrong with it. I was pretty normal in all areas.
I'm 17.

Peanut butters good, but don't buy the crap. You have to get the healthy stuff... otherwise it's fake "peanut"-flavoured margarine more or less.

Also, it's easy to say "add more calories" but make sure they're healthy calories. And don't start packin' on the calories if you aren't going to be working it off, otherwise you'll get get fat. :p

About the workout headache thing.. I don't know what it is. Sometimes when I'm working out I get very minor shaky vision, but it doesn't last long once I stop.. it only happens if I really work up a sweat. I'm 5' 8" and hit 140lbs a couple months ago.. don't let people get to you about weighing too little - you're thin and could put on some weight, but some guys are just built very slimly.

I'm sorry, eating less than 1000 calories a day AND doing a significant aerobic workout is not a recipe for a long, healthy life.

Thin is fine, just don't kill yourself working out.

Or if you are going to be working out, triple your caloric intake.

One or the other.

Um, I didn't say anything about how many calories to eat... I just said don't gorge yourself if you intend on working it off.

That's what I don't get. If I just Want to build muscle and not get fatter, then why shouldn't I do cardio and weight training?
Also, are you going to play the money WW so that you can show everyone up again?

Okay, update.
Yesterday I ran 2 miles because I was taking a break from jump-roping. I didn't get the headache even though my heart was going way faster than it normally does with jump-roping.

Today, I tried jumping again. Headache after 3 minutes, before my heart even picked up really. What is it in the jumping motion that's causing this?:confused:

I also eliminated all the other variables.
-Took in ≈2000 calories, mainly with the help of $2.99 dozen doughnuts @ Krispy Kreme ;):D
-Drank a soda 30 minutes before to make sure it wasn't the lack of caffeine
-breathed as consistently as I could.

it's kinda odd that your pain is localized on one side of the head. i think you should go check with a doctor to be safe.

It's odd, but it happens. It has happened to me as well (see my previous post), and it isn't anything serious.

Checking with a doctor isn't bad advice though if the problem persists.

appleguy123: how much time has passed between the last time this happened and this time?

I try to exercise every 2-3 days, and even then some times I give it longer due to soreness.

If you have any pain in your joints or back or neck, give it a rest for a bit. Those are not areas to mess around with.
