Anyone have any? Or normal things that just creep you out?

My only phobia is of needles... tomorrow I am getting two vaccines and I cannot get any sleep because of them. I am super nervous for tomorrow even though my concious self knows how stupid I am being.

Spiders. If I see one that is bothering me Im not terrified of killing it, but it just makes me squirm.

Feeling something (Spiders, flys, polar bears) crawling on me and not being able to see it. That will make me flip out.

And bees. Same case as spiders. But these things can attack from anywhere.

One of my friends has a phobia of Jam.... (or in the USA, Jelly)

Another friend has a phobia of Babybel cheese.. you know the little round cheese snacks... and he is even worse if they are unwrapped!!!!

Hilarious fun to be had with both of them!!

I am uneasy at open heights. But just initially. I get this feeling like I might just lose it and jump over. At a 480' dam last week and the first minute or so I could hardly stand to be at the edge.

Frogs. It's only when I have to walk past one and I'm worried it'll jump and I'll end up stepping on it. Weird, right?

Wet seaweed. I really don't like touching it or walking on it at the beach.

A girl at my college was scared of kiwi fruit.

Did she elaborate? Was it the way it looked or felt? They're furry and have all those seeds. I can see how it might freak some people out.

I didn't know there was a name for it until another of these sorts of threads appeared a while back but google trypophobia and see if the photos make any of you uneasy. It makes my skin crawl.

Ew..

I had a teacher who was rumored to have a phobia of round fruit? I didn't believe it, but whatever.

I'm pretty scared of heights, but I wouldn't say I have a phobia.

Cobwebs. Or more specifically, walking into one when taking a hike through the woods. Amazing how little spiders can weave webs 2-4 feet in circumference.

Having cobwebs all up in your face and hair is one thing but then you have carcasses of dead bugs/leaves/various woodlands items and such all clinging to you. Fun stuff

This is not an uncommon or weird phobia, but I cannot stand the sight of snakes.

But I am fine with just about every other thing. :)

Ooh, I think they're kind of fascinating. I even let a massive albino burmese python that weighed about as much as I do wrap round me. It was so heavy I couldn't get up off the sofa without help and I had really strong legs at the time. Though after a while I found it unnerving and asked the owner to coax his damn snake off me. :D

People who are scared of heights hate to watch me clean my windows. The windows open all the way inward and there's a lower one that doesn't open. To clean those I lean over staring straight down 100+ feet. Doesn't bother me at all. The only time it did give me a fright was when my mother in law wanted to see how I clean them so I showed her and she freaked out and grabbed me. Idiot.

I can see the fascination (while I shield my eyes) but no. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. *shiver* *sweat* *dry mouth* *weak knees*

Say no more. Say no more. ;)

Agreed. That was a silly thing for her to do. Oh hang about. Mother in Law you say? hmmm. Cunning woman. ;)

*shiver* Eww. I hate snakes. I'm mostly scared that they're gonna frigging bite my head off.

That would scare the crap out of me. Even just the cleaning. If somebody grabbed me..I'd fall.

I knew that wouldn't go unnoticed! You should have seen this thing! ...wait, no.

I know, right?! :D

Well pythons are constrictors so I'd have been crushed and suffocated first. It was a friendly snake though, as it were.

No, no, no, you have it all wrong - jam and jelly are not the same thing, not even in the USA.

Jelly is made from fruit juice. Jam is made from juice, bits of fruit, and seeds. Preserves have the whole fruit.

It's a bit like saying creamy peanut butter and chunky peanut butter are the same...mmm, peanut butter and jelly....
