theres your problem right there....Ford...
how many base models start at 500.00?
have about 3 pages worth of apps and less than a gig left. i either need to dole out another 100 bucks or apple needs to make the starting storage 32 gb.
Or you could have anticipated your storage needs and gotten something bigger from the get go.
So it took you to buy it open it up and return it to know that? We all told you in numerous threads 16GB wasn't enough.I bought the 16 but within 2 days had returned it, got a 32, and am now happy as can be![]()

I got the iPad 3 16gig model. I quickly regretted it, learning that it wasn't nearly enough space. I couldn't put any music or videos on it, and had to be careful with games and apps that I use for teaching. However, I made do for about a year and a half and didn't blame Apple or anyone else.
I decided to buy the iPad Air, and decided to shell out for the 128gig model.
16 works for me but I will be happy when 32GB becomes more standard. Power users will always need more but 32 is enough to fill a lot of people's needs.
With 16 I just have to be conscious to delete stuff I'm not actually using anymore. If I had more space I'd just let it get cluttered.
If resale value is what you're after, best bet is to stick to 16GB which may or may not work well for you. Really, the thing to do is to buy what you need.I feel 32GB is now the sweet spot and I recommend 64GB to stay ahead of the game and have high resale value. I would even buy the 128GB if I had the money. Let's face it Apple is coming out with these things every year and we are always going to want the latest and greatest. Thinking about resale value should be considered in your purchase.![]()

Should I get a 16 GB Air or 32 GB rMini? I will primarily use it at home and it will be wifi only. I will also be using the home sharing feature on my MBP. I won't be playing any games.
