I traded my plus for 6 but just because of the size. Yes I had a small concern about bending but really it was just to big for me to really carry. I do miss the the beautiful large screen but I do have a LTE mini retina when I need more screen real estate.

OP - Aren't you also the one claiming all over the place that the Plus will have 2gb Ram and insisting 'you'll see I'm right' (even after some other blogs/posts/tests showed 1) incessantly then disappeared when it was proven not to have?

I claimed a lot of things. This was part of my deep dark secret. But I've seen the light, and its all about my 6 now.

This thread was made to help him justify the switch and make himself feel better however in reality, deep down inside his heart he wishes he still had the 6plus.

I had the plus for two weeks. Why would I trade it in for the 6 if I really liked the plus?

you traded 6 plus in for 6 but you have doubt. hence you created this thread. It is human nature that they have doubt over their decision. but then they want to find reasons to justify their "mistake" decision.

I have concern over 6 Plus size too but there is no way that I would trade it in for 4.7". iphone 5 4" is unusable for reading and browsing. Apple is late for 5.5" but they are here nonetheless.

I made up my mind before I returned it. There was no doubt. Plus it was a hassle to go through the return process. If I really liked it, I would have kept it.

The purpose of my thread is to give others who are on the fence more to think about in their decision. Don't get mad because the plus is a piece of crap and and bends from little force.

with bashing like this, it just confirmed that you are trying to justfify your decision.

They are both great phones. The better phone is the one that works in your case. For me standing on public transit holding on with 1 hand, going to the gym, running around the office assisting people, the 6 is the clear winner. I gave the plus a chance but in my case the 6 is far more comfortable for me to use and carry.

how on earth does that confirm it? you are just in denial, phone bender.

There is also report of iphone 6 bending. what do you do now? convert back to iphone 5?

regardless, that is your fear and your choice. apple will continue to sell millions of 6 plus. no need to exaggerate your fear to justify your decision.

the fear is not exaggerated. The iphone 6 plus is prone to more bending regardless because of its size. You are just mad because secretly deep down you are second guessing your decision.

Actually when consumer reports tested both the 6 and the 6 plus, the 6 required 50 pounds of pressure before it started to bend while the plus required 70 pounds.

yes but as the community has already established, the iphone 6 plus is more prone to encounter 70 lbs of pressure due to its size and length. Especially in the pockets. which makes it way more prone to bending then the 6. simple science.

The 6 Plus sounded great in theory. I wanted a big phone for a long time but ultimately found it wasn't a great fit for me in practice. I found I valued the compactness of a phone more than I realized so I exchanged it.

Also, with the high 3X rendering resolution the phone would struggle to consistently produce ultra-smooth 60 FPS animations my wife's 6 is capable of. Even the iPhone 5 (my previous phone) was visually much more pleasant to use, so opening the newly released iPhone to find an "outdated-feeling" experience was really disappointing. It may sound petty but it's one of the things I really enjoy and Apple usually makes a point of providing.

But if any of you prefer your 6 Plus, I find no fault in you. We likely just value different aspects of the devices more and less than the other.

These threads are just an effort to slow iPhone 6+ sales. Saying it's a "piece of crap" is way over the top. It's not the right for some people but people can go to their retail outlet of choice and see what size is best for them.

There's nothing shoddy, cheap, or crappy about the 6+. Not right for everyone but it's well designed and, for the things I've been using it for, lightning fast. I'm not a hard-core gamer though so I cannot speak to that. Web pages load instantly. The apps I use don't lag.

My dog jumped on it when it was on the couch and it didn't bend (he weighs 90 lbs). I wouldn't want to sit on it myself but I've never sat on any of my phones. I don't believe it bends unless it's treated roughly or there's accidental damage from sitting on it or subjecting it to high, focused pressure. No more than most any other phone though.

I started by tying out the 6 Plus but I find it is just too big, apps that have been updated don't take real advantage of the screen and the battery life is not enough to convince me to keep it. I prefer to have a 6 with more storage space for the same price.
