PROTIP: Wait until September 9th.
Maybe he does pull a MBP out of the left pocket.
Inside sources tell me Steve is leaving to go backpacking in India...again, this time brining an iPhone, a Macbook Pro, and $20.
Whilist Bill Gates comes back on the scene as Apple's Interim CEO.
And the crowd goes nuts.
But anyway, we've speculated for months. We can wait a few more days.
MacBooks and MacBook Pros will likely be announced together and at a separate event. And I am hoping the "One More Thing" at that event is a new Mini on the same platform.
It might be a new Mac tablet that replaces the 12" PowerBook with better specs?
Yeah, MacBook Pocket =p
Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5C1 Safari/525.20)
I suppose that it is possible but I'm not holding my breath.
It's a 50% chance.
doubtful.. i'd say we're waiting for macworld before we see new MB/MBPs.. probably just new nano and revised touch pricing.
That's insane. They won't come out on the 9th, but Apple isn't waiting for MacWorld, either.
I hope so, but all we can do is wait another 6 days and find out.
Slim and fun.
Core 2 Cube, anyone?
Okay, bad joke....
Don't you mean slim to none?
I would say there is a good chance. I know that in the UK stocks of Macbooks and Macbook Pros are running dry in all of the Apple resellers. Would Apple really let this happen in the midst of the back to school buying frenzy for no good reason?
I hope it is. All the other manufacturers are shipping Montevina laptops. Let's go Apple !
It's a non-zero possibility.
It doesn't look good.
other note: what are the chances of there being a "one more thing" this go around. i couldnt help but notice there wasnt one at steves last keynote. I noticed as soon as randy newman took the stage
0% < x < 1%
Very slim, I wouldn't expect anything until late September or mid October.
Seems about right...
