What are you doing for Valentine's Day?

I'll assume that's a serious question and say no, not that I would go there. Human contact and relationships trump any masturbation tool. Going out on Valentine's Day isn't fun from my experience. Restaurants are completely slammed and you tend to get not the best experience.

Stay home on that night and do something special for the one you love.
 
Valentine's dinner is important, i have no time so i will not choose to travell by that time. Maybe a romantic movie after dinner.🙂

No really. I don't really see the need for forced-romantic gestures via spending money just because Hallmark and other such greedy retailers/restaurants think we should. So if it's a day to celebrate lurrrrve, that's what we're going to do, but without contributing to the financial farce.

Anyway, I'll be going out with my wife for a candle-light dinner. The kid will stay with nanny.
 
I asked my girlfriend what we should do. Told me she didn't want any romantic gestures, just to be round my place on the day. I guess its why I love her 🙂.

I'm taking my girlfriend to La Nouba. They are closed on Sunday, so we are going Saturday night. Should be a nice surprise.

Bought a photo keychain thing to try to use somehow...like put a poem on it, and pictures of what to wear, and where to meet me, or something...but I can't get the stupid software to work on my mac...
 
I'm working on a project in France this term, and will be until March. I have that Friday off though, so my girlfriend is flying out thursday night and we're meeting in Paris to spend Friday, Saturday and Sunday together. No specific plans but, hey, it's Valentine's Day in Paris, what more could you wish for??
 
Anyone else have a completely illogical love of those chalky conversation hearts? I'm aware of how awful they are, but I'll sit around and eat handfuls of them until I'm sick to my stomach.
 
hmm kinda forgot about this (ok, i really forgot about this). id love to do something sweet for my gf of 3 years. money is tight and all that crap - ill have to think of something sweet to do that doesnt chew monies. hmmm..
