We had an early Valentines day since my girlfriends visiting her sister at the weekend. Chinese buffet and Avatar in 3D. Was a fairly good day. Made her a valentines card too...
But I guess this means a regular weekend for me 😱.

No really. I don't really see the need for forced-romantic gestures via spending money just because Hallmark and other such greedy retailers/restaurants think we should. So if it's a day to celebrate lurrrrve, that's what we're going to do, but without contributing to the financial farce.

Well, my contribution was $14.99 in roses at Costco, which we bought together with my wife. Her b-day is only a couple days from Valentine's Day, so I'm still deciding what else to do there. 🙂
 
The same thing I do every year: Plot to take over the world!

In reality, nothing, I've never had a reason to do anything on valentines day.
 
I'll be bitter and lonely. Ok, not really.

I'll just keep looking for work.

Once I've got work, I can get a place again.
Once I have a place again, I can rebuild my savings.
Once I rebuild my savings, THEN I can be bitter and lonely.

There's a process for this. 😀

Valentine's Day my ass!

Finished Mass Effect to freshen up my memory, did some laundry, started playing Mass Effect 2. Later I went out for a game of dice with some friends, and now I am finishing the day off with some Latte Macchiato.

The only Valentines greetings I received this year - like all the years before that - were from my soon-to-be ex-wife. Didn't send out any myself since there are no potential candidates. I am really living the life, oh yes.

Well I spent the day converting my partner over to the Mac.... nah who am I kidding, I spent it with them in the city doing nothing at all - if only I could keep them locked up in my room - happy much 😀
 
Did some work in the morning while the gf went out shopping with her brother. Finished a Warhammer novel.. talking crap on MR now while gf watches Desperate Housewives.

Who says romance is dead eh 😀
 
Today is February 14th...Happy Singles Awareness Day, everybody! Well, to those of us whom are single I should say. Today was just a normal day for me, nothing special really. I am not in a relationship by choice right now so nobody to buy a card or gift for. Hope everyone had a great day!

Maaaan! I really enjoyed Mass Effect. My Xbox died and since I also have PS3, it is unlikely to get replaced. Though I was looking forward to Mass Effect 2. Oh well.
