Listening to the work of probably my second* favorite guitar players of all time. A great band, a great record and a great song.
Pretty cool that Gilmour auctioned off 127 of his guitars recently and they fetched some 21 million dollars combined. All of which went to charity.
*Actually the second place is occupied by more than one guitarist depending on the day, but still, an insane amount of respect to Mr. Gilmour.

Indeed. But the drawing I use was my daughters handy work, so I’m kind of attached to it.
lots of gems in the Santana treasure box - so much to choose from - I like all the early Santana stuff and my dad burned all the early Santana albums into my brain by playing it all the time - ie 8 track player in the car - lol - Samba Pa Ti, Oye Como Va, Europa, Flor de Luna, etc
I really like the Marathon album - cool bass riffs on "Aqua Marine" and "Marathon " would be a cool opener for any concert or event.

You know, this is the first time I really look at that avatar of yours. I've always thought that it was the face of a cartoon dog, but I never registered the car, mistaking it for the dog's nose instead. Your daughter was, possibly still is, a talented artist!
Since yesterday was the day for Pink Floyd, this evening has been spent listening to my all time favorite guitar player (I know I know, there's a chance someone else might share that view as well). This song is very possibly one of the best ones ever written, I just can't get enough of it or the whole Electric Ladyland album really.
Many of my favourite tunes by Carlos are on that LP. What a great work of art.
Classical Gas - "the orginal version" - had the 45 rpm back in the day - it started my appreciation of guitar & music
