In my opinion, Chopin's best work.
Those and the four ballades are my favorites.
Class. Pure class. Timeless, brilliant, and transformative - "pop" music was never quite the same after the release of this track. Terrific choice.
Just now, I am listening to "The Boxer" by Simon & Garfunkel.
Its been a Queen sort of night. But it often is with me!

Sometimes, I have a Queen night, - and they are brilliant - somewhat more frequently I have a Dire Straits night - that reminds me......

Sultans of Swing (by Dire Straits) currently playing.
Brothers In Arms is outstanding - a superlative - track (as is Telegraph Road).
But, I do recall a frisson of delight when I first heard Sultans of Swing; I thought it brilliant the, and I still think it brilliant all the years later.

Very often, as it happens, and there is a very good reason for that: They were simply superb.
