Song: Travellin'
Artist: Jeremy Spencer Band
Entered the "Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart" (U.S.): December 15, 1979
Artist Info: Jeremy Spencer was an original member of Fleetwood Mac (1967-1971).

I wonder how many of you (above a certain age) will remember this song as soon as you hear the first few notes, or at least the chorus line. It should have charted much higher than it did (IMO). It might have done so if it had been released a few years earlier, because it has the mellow, laid-back "feel" of the early to mid 1970s to it (the reason I like it so much), maybe similar to some of America's greatest hits. I rediscovered it in 2011 and immediately recognized it, even though it had probably been over 30 years since I had last heard it. As I listened to it, I couldn't believe I had completely forgotten it (thanks to radio stations no longer playing it after only a few weeks or months).

"It's finally here: rain season, time to love quietly, to empty the closet again while the pages of the calendar fall away without making any noise... time to forget the boat at the pier... She seats at the table, he just listens, knowing there is no need to utter a word... come close to the fire, there's just enough space for both of us"

Fear of the Dark (Iron Maiden) — Lydia and Constantinos Boudounis

I first watched this video 4 or 5 years ago (2015-16). I don't care for the original at all, but this cover is a masterpiece. I've listened to it many times since.

Here are just 7 viewer comments:
• "The most beautiful version of Fear of The Dark I've ever heard."
• "Well Done! You just made a version that is as better as the original!"
• "Holy ****! This is one of the best things I've ever heard."
• "You guys totally took that song to a new level, very moving, one of the best covers I've ever heard. Bravo."
• "Beautiful tone, excellent phrasing, elegant arrangement - a moving and inspiring piece of work you did…"
• "That was legitimately one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen."
• "The arrangements are perfect. This song has been transported exceptionally well into a symphonic setting. A perfect move…"
