Going through some selected classic albums tonight when I really should already be fast asleep. Oh well.
Symbolic is such a great album, and Crystal Mountain has always been my favorite track off it. Amazing songwriting by the late, great Chuck Schuldiner, and well, Gene Hoglan is on the drums. Not really much more that needs to be said about that.

On a harder journey compared to the usual trance tonight. If you've seen the film Blade you'll know this techno/acid tune well.
Fun fact, I was bored in the detention centre in school and played this on CD like 4-5 times in a row lol.

Unfortunately I'm listening to a charming bunch of barn swallows sitting on the phone line outside and chattering with great excitement about their imminent departure for the Caribbean. They'll leave before the weekend without even packing a lunch or a roadmap, and they won't be back until the middle of next May.

Haydn's piano sonatas. Going through my classical collection backwards, started in the 1920s and working my way to the 12th century. So much to enjoy still.
Know about Bootsy (and Parliament/Funkadelic and Sly & The Family Stone).
Cheers for Graham Central Station. Just realized how important the trumpet is to funk (Know and love the bass lines). Great tunes all the way around. To me, Funk is a party. It's fun music.
