Taking a break from the classics and listening to some new (at least for me) bands. One that caught my ear earlier today was Hum. Apparently they've been around since the late 80's, and the new album Inlet is their latest album with the previous one being released over twenty years ago.

Good music for a chill evening, I've always liked this kind of shoegazy, mellow and atmospheric stuff. The whole album sounds really good, but this track was the one that drew me in.

Seems like half my pals with seasonal residences didn't open up their places early this year (or at all) thanks to the coronavirus pandemic , and seems now like half the ones who did straggle up by midsummer are already fretting about whether it's time to head on back.

Well this song's for them! Hothouse Flowers' 1988 offering Don't Go. Not yet anyway... the days are still warm even if the nights are gettin' chilly.
