Seeking solace... JS Bach, Well Tempered Clavier, vol 1; Angela Hewitt on piano.

I had read that Hewitt's most beloved Fazioli piano, F278, was accidentally smashed beyond repair when being moved, after she had finished recording for her latest album, assorted sets of Beethoven variations.

Well that would challenge even the most “well tempered” pianist - 😜

•Everyone's gangsta until she starts playing with her eyes closed.
•While also talking, lol.
•This is honestly so mesmerizing to watch.
•Hard to believe that she’s playing a ukulele. She makes it sound like a Spanish classical guitar. Absolutely beautiful!
•I thought I accidentally left the playback speed on 2x, but boy was I wrong.
•If this doesn't wake you up when you're just lazy in bed in the morning, then nothing will. 😂
•Okay so the strumming pattern is down, up, up, south, left, horizontal, all over the place, down, then turn around, twist, diagonal, north, jump and then down.

Been playing around with the guitar tonight trying to dial in some good Fuzz tones and had to take a break to look for some inspiration. Ended up listening to Gary Clark Jr.'s stuff as I really like what he does with a guitar. This song in particular has a really great tone, and well, the song as a whole is just great and Gary sure can play the strings right off a guitar. Amazing artist.

As a former TV lover (addict?) (from age 8-ish to 48-ish), I consider the theme song to the Home Fires TV Series to be the most beautiful one of all time (by my standards). When I first heard it on Oct. 4, 2015, I kept wishing it would never end. The mesmerizing harmonies still give me goosebumps.

I just wish the opening scene of S01-E01 was still on YouTube. The images really compliment the song (and vice versa). There is a longer version of this song on YouTube, but I don't like it as well as the short TV series version that I've posted here.
