Guilty pleasure:

Not a big fan of his but there are several tunes of his from the his second lp that I really like.

I kinda liked his first album - after the Sweeny Todd 70's stuff of course etc.

"Hidin' From Love" -80's vibe for sure - lol - but what a voice!

Spotify . . .

The auto-gen Top Songs 2020 playlist that Spotify made for me:

I am loving spotify more and more each month - been signed up for 2 years ( recommended on a post / reply by LizKat) - I love it - don't miss apple music ever - I will check out my 2020 auto-gen - likely a "mixed up" bag - lol

Yeah, I love it too. As much as I love the tactility of physical media, I do really enjoy having such a vast library of music at my fingertips. I think this is also coming up on my second year of being signed up, actually.

I'd be interested to see your 2020 auto-gen. I find it interesting to see how listening habits compare from year to year. My 2019 auto-gen definitely has a different feel to it.

I still use iTunes ( Music-local) for most of my listening and tracking / play lists / syncing etc

I am slowly using Spotify for all new Music - and trying to build an over all playlist that resembles my iTunes playlists

That being said - here is my fledgling list - 2020 songs so far - it's all over the map - lol

I also use YouTube for streaming music and I use ripped CDs for offline music on the computer. Your playlist looks awesome, I'll be sure to take a listen when I get time :D

iTunes for me still...

That would be a nice option. Internet radio streaming is also nice and easy on any device. I use my iPad and also have an internet receiver for the stereo system.
I listen to a lot of DAB radio. Mostly in the car. Until we get to December. Then I turn it off as they all seem to include awful Christmas music. Not unlike what they are playing in this hotel right now asi have breakfast!

Yes, Christmas music can be nice for the holiday season. But the incessant playing of the standard gems over and over again can get a little nerve racking.

Nope. Can’t stand it at all.

Agree completely with you both; while I actually like some of the classic Christmas songs, - there is a history of shared memories at this time, along with the tradition of hearing these songs at a specific time each year, the saturated coverage and incessant playing of these seasonal standards means that one tires of them swiftly.

Luciano Pavarotti - Nessun dorma (translation on wiki)
I've never been one for opera, and dont know the first thing about it; it's just not my jam. But after my previous post in this thread, i came across this one and it just floored me. If you're like me, and not into opera at all, you gotta have a listen to this...
