He and Van Morrison are both saying the same thing. Eric is a tad more subtle.
Not sure I follow. Perhaps EC is being too subtle but lyrics, like poetry, are intended to be interpreted. Music is usually like art in that way -- although not always.
Without getting into problems here with the moderators, both Van and Eric are very much against the quick two phase medical procedure that millions around the world have undergone recently. They still produce good music.
I heard that EC got a severe and rare side effect from the AstraZeneca shot so he is jaded based on his personal experience. In my mind, that is a little different than being against something solely for political reasons or based on misinformation. It's funny, though, that at first glance the video has to do with anti-totalitarianism generally. Anyway, EC is a great musician and his body of work is simply outstanding.
Yes I notice it too. It appears that @Expos of 1969 is a victim of cancel culture. I refuse to believe it.
