such a fine album

Something a bit different from me today. One of the guys that works for me is in a band. I'd always assumed it would be a bit crap. But I was quite impressed! He's the drummer. Give them a watch and a like to help them out if you can.

hmmm

An Englishman in a band?

Is said band The Beatles? The Stones? The Jam? The Who?

No?

Then it is a **** band so no.

also, this masterpiece. the greatest rachmaninov concerto no. 3 recording in existence as far as I'm aware. Argerich is one of the greatest of all time, many of her recordings from 30/40+ years ago remain unsurpassed even to this day.

Good stuff. Color me impressed -- good all the way around: drums, driving guitar/base, and intense but smooth sounding lead singer.

Very interesting interview with Tony Visconti. He has produced, engineered and mixed Bowie, T.Rex, and many more. This interview ranges from stories about the Beatles, Bowie, Marc Bolan, moving from Brooklyn to London, he discusses studio techniques, shows photos of artists in the studio, his home studios, he built, his commercial studios etc. It is 2 hours long but well worth your time to listen.
