RIP Charlie Watts, drummer of The Rolling Stones, at 80.
Thank you!Actually, I should have been more precise: Just now, I am listening to a superb concert (recorded on May 13, 2015 in Amsterdam) which was given by Jordi Savall (viola da gamba) & Xavier Díaz-Latorre (Renaissance guitar and theorbo).
Anyway, I could happily die and head to whatever afterlife exists (or doesn't, as the case may be) with this exquisite music echoing in my ears.
Lenny Kravitz - Again
Delighted to learn that you have enjoyed it; I love this sort of music, and that is a superb concert.Thank you!
Not on Apple Music, but I found it on You Tube of all places! (I guess YT has its uses after all, lol)
New to me and utterly sublime.
One of my very favorite groups. I was just watching a video of a ten or eleven year old kid that Dave called up on stage to play guitar. The kid was amazing and played Enter Sandman from Metallica with the group. Dave actually gave the kid his guitar. Absolutely amazing...
Another group (if you like this style of music, and I do, very much) that is well worth listening to - the very accomplished pair who comprise the duo play a Renaissance guitar and a theorbo - is Lute Duo; look out for their Baroque Insight sequence, also available on YT.Thank you!
