Their first and biggest hit was A Horse With No Name in 71 and then there was Ventura Highway in 72. The three American boys formed the band in 70 in London. They were there because their fathers were posted in the UK as members of the US air force.

If you like the Symphony, this is a great performance of a classic dance piece set to it (maybe you already have seen it):
I think this is one of the truest expressions of Balanchine's classic quote "see the music, hear the dance".
Me and a couple Navy friends were at this concert. Mark Knopfler is one of my all time favorites. Man knows how to play a guitar...
