I've been on a Daft Punk kick lately - mainly the Discovery album (Or watching Interstella 5555, basically Discovery as a movie :) )

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger is one of my favorite songs. and that movie is epic and not to bad. i thought it was going to be terrible but i was pleasantly surprised.

My big faves on that disc are: Aerodynamic, Digital Love, Veridis Quo, Superheroes and Something About Us.

I'm tied between Digital Love and Veridis Quo as my #1 fave though. I even did a Photoshop piece based on VQ from the movie...

Veridis Quo

The great Arthur Russell's entire discography
Various DJ Screw mixtapes
Kassem Mosse - Workshop 003 EP
Sun Ra - The Night of the Purple Moon
Mordant Music/Shackleton - Picking O'er the Bones
Sunn O))) - Monoliths & Dimensions
Mathew Jonson - Walking on the Hands that Follow Me EP
Chris James & Lee Dearn - Torcida Cumbia

I'm so bad, I should be in detention! ;) :D

It is a parody of sorts, it was different when I was a wee-wide-eyed-lad...

Very Beastie-esque (at the time)... ;)

I know. I've been a fan of Anthrax since Spreading the Disease. Even when it was released it was kind of cringingly bad.

Watching them play I'm The Man live was always entertaining though...

I always liked I'm the Man, even though it was silly. Their other attempt at rap, Bring the Noise, is awesome. I wish I could have seen their tour with Public Enemy.

Bass, how low can you go?

A mix of dirty jackin' Chicago style House a mate did for me. Honestly, if you could hear this right now you'd be jigging around the room wiggling your ass. No, really, I don't know how I'm managing to sit still....

My entire iTunes library basically consists of about 25GB of funky/deep/stomping House mixes and about 5GB of nasty rolling Drum n' Bass and Techno mixes. Most of my mates DJ so I always get mix CDs that were either recorded in the studio or live at a club night.

:apple:

Atmosphere - God Loves Ugly

You gotta love hi hop "Love Songs"...

Chorus:

I love you, don't ever f&^*ing question that
That's probably why we'll never get along
If I was better at finding the right words to say
I wouldn't have to write these mother f*&%ing songs!

I love you...
