Agreed, there is nothing in this update that would entice me back from Garmin. Athytic etc is pretty useless compared to Garmin or Whoop or even Oura ringNo native recovery metrics. Big miss.
I did the same, I’d like to say I love my Fenix 7 but I don’t, it’s a tool that gets the job done, I loved my Apple Watch though but fitness is my priority and until Apple sort of their recovery metrics I won’t be back.True. Which is why I am headed back to Garmin even though I like Apple better, my fitness takes priority.
Did any of you get what you was wishing for?
No. No new fitness messures about load and recovery pushed me to order the new Garmin watch.Did any of you get what you was wishing for?
She was with me last night.😀[checks under bed for Scarlett Johansson]
Nope.

The thing where you can pull up a Siri-style widget from any watch face is intriguing. If it can be configured to show the widgets I want, or its guesses are good enough that it does show the widgets I want most of the time, it could allow me to stay on a simple, elegant watch face as my main face, instead of the complication-heavy, mostly data-filled faces I use now.Did any of you get what you was wishing for?
Saw a review on YouTube yesterday. Yes, you can choose which widgets you want for a maximum of eight or you can choose to have machine learning determine which to put there for you.The thing where you can pull up a Siri-style widget from any watch face is intriguing. That's good to know, thanks for the info.Saw a review on YouTube yesterday. Yes, you can choose which widgets you want for a maximum of eight or you can choose to have machine learning determine which to put there for you.
To me, this is just a redesigned dock that we always had using widgets instead of app icons coupled with machine learning to select for you which we also had with the Siri watch face.
Correct. It’s a remastered dock lol. That's good to know, thanks for the info.
I think the dock just shows app icons, while the pull-up widgets show data. Am I wrong?

Invoking them is not the same. It says a swipe up and then swipe left or right in the article you linked. The widget view uses the Digital Crown. No, it's the return of Glances. Even the gesture to invoke them is the same. Glances
Docks, glances, I don't care. It's the "show more info" part that's important!Invoking them is not the same. It says a swipe up and then swipe left or right in the article you linked. The widget view uses the Digital Crown.
I mean, you can call it the return of Glances if you’d like. To me, it’s more of a dock that shows more info than just the app icon. It’s replacing the dock, not Glances.

I have that issue too. I want to hit snooze to get a few more minutes but I have to wake up enough to make sure I’m pressing the right button instead of accidentally turning it off, so then I’m already awake. But I suppose I’d rather be awake than accidentally cancel the alarm and pass back out until an hour into my work shift.I hope alarm clock's 'Snooze' and 'Stop' buttons were farther apart. I don't understand why they are next to each other. Why the other one is not on the top of the screen and the other on the bottom. It would be much easier to press the 'Snooze' with sleepy eyes and not to worry if I accidentallly press the wrong one.
Or even better, just say “snooze”without lifting an eyelid!I have that issue too.
