Currently reading "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. My wife is a children's librarian and also very much into young adult fiction. She's been talking about these books for a long time and now all the buzz has gotten to me. Several people have said how great the series is. I'm only close to about half way into the book and it is pretty dang good.

I've read that! Nice read...

I always find it really weird how we have two ways of pronouncing a word that's spelt the same:

Read (Reed)
Read (Red)

I'll chime in

So i'm a little late, but I decided to read the Harry Potter series. I just finished book 1. I decided to read these because I have most of the movies, and I went to pop one in, but decided against it until I read each book. So I will read the book, watch the movie, read the next book, watch that movie so on and so forth.

I read the first one in like 4 days. Before I started, I read a Dean Koontz (who I usually read). Can't recall the title, but it was about an ice expedition where scientists get trapped on a ice burg. I did not think it was as good as what I have read, but worth reading. Will update later with the title.

Edit: The book by Dean Koontz is Icebound.

I found myself reading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time books again. Starting with the first one, and I can't put it down.
