What do you all think about the new aluminum Series 11, Space Gray? It's a new color from the Series 10's lineup, and it notably differs from previous models' Space Grays in that it's lighter and closer to Silver than Midnight:

I particularly want to know about if people are choosing between the new Space Gray and the Silver finishes, since they seem so similar. I'm personally leaning towards the Silver both because I like brighter colored bands and I already wear silver jewelry, but it's not set in stone yet.

It’s more like a dark silver than space grey. It looks fine overall but I’m a little surprised they have it along with regular silver. Not for me, personally, as I like darker colors than that on a watch.

Kind of just feels like a stop-gap between the jet black and the silver. Space Grey used to be darker in older versions of the watches, but Jet black was also not being sold on the aluminum models back then, so there wasn't confusion of the two being close to one another. Personally I would rather go either silver or jet black, that is just my preference.

I too was wishing for a darker space grey, similar to the midnight colour in series 6. I did get the 42mm jet black in series 10 but found it to be a smudge magnet and then I kept seeing articles about the paint chipping so I returned it. I think the black screen and glossy black finish also made it look smaller somehow. Hoping to pick up a space grey watch soon but I like wearing darker bands so I'm not sure if they would work well with this lighter colour so I'm on the fence.
