Cricket. Cheap af(5 lines @ 100 lol), owned by ATT.
Are they all unlimited? Right now I see four for $100 but would love to know if I missed something.

I have a few more questions if I may!

Are you limited To 3mbps? Do you notice that being an issue at all if so?

How's the video streaming? We've been limited to480p as advertised by T-Mobile but we honestly find it's fine. Any issues there?

Heavily considering switching over especially now that you mention five lines for $100. Even at four lines for $100 we'd save around $500 a year. That's a new iPhone every two... not nothing!

So..... I’ve been a Sprint customer for 19 years now. I live around the Nashville area and honestly, it just works where I’m at and 99% of the places I travel.

Overall, I get great deals on my IPhone every 12-18 months and again, it just works where I go. And I really don’t care if a page or an app opens up 2 seconds slower than a phone on Verizon or T Mobile.

Besides, I’m guessing the merger with T Mobile will go through which should be an overall upgrade to the service anyway.

From Minnesota.

I have AT&T Unlimited Plus. Just because it’s cheaper than Verizon for unlimited.

Used to have T-Mobile and generally loved its service, but it doesn’t work well in my new office building. Also, dialing into conference calls with T-Mobile on my cell phone prompts some weird 1 cent per minute charge.

After some googling, it turns out that T-Mobile doesn’t have agreements in place with the free conference call providers like AT&T, Sprint and Verizon do.

If they ever fix that and start to provide service where I work, I’d happily go back.

T-mobile.
They have free Gogo in-flight WiFi. With 2 trans-pacific flights a month, that alone is worth $80+ a month, more than what i’m Paying for my line (3 lines for $110).
Plus, unlimited international roaming.

Verizon, because T-Mobile and AT&T suck where I live. I travel a lot as well and Verizon seems to be consistently better than T-Mobile. Hoping T-Mo improves but until then, going with the phone I get the best reception with.

According to Root Metics for LA AT&T and TMo don’t suck although Verizon is #1 according to Root Metrics they aren’t a significant #1. Unless they’re wrong?

Verizon. Having frequently traveled across the United States, Verizon regularly provides the best connection performance of any carrier, especially in more remote or less densely populated areas. I think other carriers provide reasonable service as well, but above all else, having signal/connection is everything. Without it, your cell phone's a useless brick. So it's Verizon for us, and probably will be for a long time to come given our extensive experience.

And concerning connectivity's importance, this is the reason why we're sticking with our iPhone 6s and 7 a while longer. I won't tolerate the nonsense some of you Xs owners are going through with dropped LTE or repeatedly airplane-modeing your Xs hoping to trigger a stable tower connection. Absurd in a $1100+ device. I'll take the iPhone 7 at a third of the price and none of the connectivity problems.

Yeah I've seen the same testing and unfortunately it's just not the case. I would love to get away from Verizon. I live in an area where T-mobile claims support for Band 71 and I get no reception.

T-MOBILE. I have three lines for $100. I don't need three lines. It was originally two lines for $100 and then they offered one line free so I added it. If I cancel a line it's still $100 so I keep them. T-Mobile is also the only carrier who gets me service where I live and it's excellent service no matter where I go.

5 lines for $100 is a grandfathered plan. It’s 5 GB per line @8Mbps then throttled after that. I am on the 4 line version of that plan (also no longer offered, but we only use about 1 GB or less a month so I haven’t seen a need to switch to the unlimited plan). I would probably only switch if we plan a trip to Canada, since Canada roaming is not included on my plan.

I’ve heard plenty of positive reviews of the 3 Mbps limit, and that it’s only noticeable if you’re updating apps over cellular or running a speed test. I have stream saver turned on for all my lines which the unlimited plan always has on (video @1.5 Mbps or 480p) and have no complaints.

Edit to clarify: the 4 for $100 plan that is currently offered is unlimited data @3 Mbps

My progress has been Voicestream--> Sprint PCS--> Verizon--> AT&T--> T-Mobile

Despite Verizon's claims for the best coverage, I switched from Verizon to AT&T because of a section of my commute that Verizon did not cover. This was years ago, and they might very well cover it now.

I never thought I'd be on T-Mobile but when they started turning on Band 12, they suddenly had all kinds of coverage where they were sparse before, or even nonexistent.

Now, Band 71 is helping them flesh out at relatively low cost because of how many fewer arrays they need for Band 71 to get the same coverage.

Something else that impresses me about T-Mobile is the human services. They really seem to bend over backwards to get things done for me.

I'm on the old guy plan, two lines with everything (including HD video) for 60.00/month including taxes and fees.

... some time TMO show full bars but no data speed on it .

This is just a guess, but I am thinking that when you show full signal and poor data, you've latched onto a Band 12 array that does not have much MHz on it because it wasn't available for purchase.

So when you're on that array you'll have reliable voice, even HD Voice, and messaging, but poor data speeds.

In an area like that, you'll blaze along with one or two bars on Band 2 or Band 4, but slow to a crawl even though you have four or five bars on Band 12.

I am on their grandfathered plan. $100/5 lines/5GB each. The 5th line was free back when I got it so I just took it just in case lol. The non-unlimited plans are not limited to 3mbps, they used to be capped at 8mbps and still are. Video streaming works fine for me right now.

I need to look into the new unlimited plans but yeah afaik, they are capped at 3mbps which tbh wont be that huge of a deal. If you are just using sites like reddit or macrumors and all, 3mbps is MORE than enough. Most YouTube videos/netflix will still work fine as well.

I've been with T-Mobile for about two years now. I have no regrets whatsoever in ditching AT&T. Data speeds and coverage is great where I live (Delaware) and coverage is still pretty decent when my wife and I travel domestically. I also appreciated T-Mobile while we were in Europe last month since I didn't have to worry about overpaying for an int'l data pass that AT&T charged my wife (even though I purchased an Orange pre-paid SIM prior to our trip). My wife is still on her parents family plan with AT&T, and I refuse to switch. Especially when I pay $56/month for my T-Mobile ONE plan (with 20% hookup discount).

We have Verizon because they deliver the best service for my area which is coverage and stability. I use to have Sprint many years ago but at that time they did not cover where I moved to and today the coverage they offer is spotty although they will tell you otherwise. The coverage maps will say one thing but reality is another. None of the other big providers can match up to Verizon here.

T-Mobile right at 4 years now.

Simple Choice North America Family Unlimited 4 Lines Unlimited @ $150 + taxes and fees. $30 for my 5th line. 15% Corporate discount.

I absolutely have nothing bad to say about T-Mobile. Love, love, love my service with them. Won't be going anywhere any time soon.

My XS on Verizon has been rock solid and blazing fast.

Orange in France. €9.99 for 50GB of LTE nationwide & all over EU.
Best coverage, best speeds.

Bay Area. Verizon because others suck. Sprint has been garbage for years. AT&T haven’t tried in years. T-Mobile is ok except on the bay bridge which means I have to be in the office before my first video call of the morning.
