I'm with AT&T now for the new 3GS. I left Verizon after 10 years, and if Verizon announced that they were going to have iPhone I would switch back tomorrow.

AT&T has been better than I thought it would be, but it's still no VZW.

It would have to be T-mobile in the UK. Loads of minutes for next to nothing (around 1000 and unlimited texts for £30.00 per month and unlimited browsing with 1GB fair use policy).

They wouldn't mess around with all this 'internet tethering is extra' nonsense either I'd wager.

I guess right now, anything is better than o2's paltry, unfair and overpriced offerings - right kids?!:)

O2's current contracts are way better than the ones they first came out with for the iPhone. 200mins and 200texts for £35/pm!

We have three major carriers here and two of them (Vodafone and Optimus) have the iPhone. I'm pretty happy with Vodafone, they have very good coverage and have better plans and more options for the iPhone than Optimus. They even have some free iPhone apps.

No network is perfect. Before my iPhone I had a phone not with VZW but covered by Verizon's network (the now defunct Amp'd Mobile). There were areas I'd get no service, just like there are some areas with my iPhone where I get no service. All in all, though, those dead zones are very few and far between. Sorry for the cliché.

AT&T kills my inner child.. I have NO service in my house, but my Verizon phone is fine..

PLEASE VERIZON!!!! Lol

Verizon vs AT&T

is dumb why Verizon in the us is a GSM network Iphone does not support GSM so there are too options Verizion has to go Sims or Iphone has to do a special phone for Verizion. this is probably the problem Apple and Verizon had when they talked. it's AT&T vs T-mobile in the us, I never had T-M but I actually like AT&T. I been though 4 networks to get to them! Verizon was one I didn't like them much!

Actually.. Verizon has 3g.. ask any verizon rep and they will tell you the same.. and their service is awesome.. att service sucks it.. i never have service on my iphone i am having to tell everyone to call my verizon line but if they wanna text me, they can text my att line.. soo aggravating!

I think it should be available officially on ALL networks. Better for us and service quality and cross comparisons etc and better value :D And of course better for Apple more ££££.

There.

It would make a lot of sense for Apple to offer it on all networks. I'm sure there's literally millions in the US alone that would take the iPhone in a heartbeat if it were offered on a service that provides the best coverage in their area.

I love AT&T. They have great coverage in my region but it does nothing for the fact that there are many areas in the US that are simply not touched by AT&T cellular signals.

I'd have a lot more people to message when the iPhone Messenger is released too. :D;)

It all depends on where you live. Location location location.
AT&T rocks here and Verizon is terrible.

Verizon's 3G service is not the same as AT&T's 3G service.

Verizon = EV-DO CDMA
AT&T = UMTS/HSDPA

I've had every major carrier in the US (Sprint/Nextel, T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T/Cingular) and so far, Verizon has been my least favorite. T-Mobile had to have been my favorite, but my contract was up a week before the 3G launch so I decided to get an iPhone without hacking it. I must say that I lived in a basement for the majority of the years I've had a cellular device and AT&T and my iPhone are the only things to get service down there. Both my roomates have T-Mobile and they're rooms are the basement and they NEVER have service.

I'd love it if T-Mobile USA got the iPhone. I have been unhappy with AT&T since switching in April and am about to cancel my contract and go back to T-Mobile. I'll miss 3G but I've noticed every time I've traveled around the state that I'm stuck on Edge anyway. I have had more dropped/garbled calls in the last 4 months than I've had in the last 3 years with TMO. It's getting annoying. The best part about AT&T is the iPhone.

At&t

I'd like to see the iPhone stay with AT&T. I get good service from AT&T and I think it is about time another company competes with Verizon on the phone selection...
