The royal blue case on the Apple website viewed on my Mac doesn't look at all like the royal blue in your photo. I wonder if it has to do with the monitor or computer you are using?

You mean my iPad Pro? lol

The case I purchased from eBay arrived from China: only took 8 days! I'm quite happy with it. Flexible, the holes line up properly, and it looks good on my iPad Pro with the Smart Case. Here's where I got it and below are photos:

Mine hasn’t arrived yet.

I thought you were going for the grey version to match a space grey iPad, but that looks like the clear one?

It does look good and these are really good value, especially compared to the Silicone Cases.

I finally got the Smart Keyboard yesterday!! You guys are right, it really is a nice keyboard. Also ordered a clear case that's Smart Cover compatible from Amazon so that will compliment the iPad and not leave the back exposed for long.

Good choice. I have a clear case on the back along with the Smart Keyboard and they work well. The clear case shows of the colour of my iPad which is Rose Gold. Along with the sleeve I got from SF Bags all in all it's a winning combination.

It's the grey one. It just looks clear in the photos. It's kind of a lighter grey (likely due to the transparency), but still looks good with the Space Grey iPad.

Mine has just arrived. It’s a shame the textured finish isn’t on the outside as I it would have been nicer to hold.

It is a good fit and works well with the Smart Cover, although you do have to stretch it to insert the lightning cable.

Did you order the same one as me? My lightning cable fits fine without stretching.

It’s the Aiyopeen branded one. I bought it directly from them on Aliexpress.

I have fitted the case again, inserting from bottom to top, rather than from the side, and now I can insert the lightning cable without having to use a fingernail to prise it over the cable.

Just got the Luvvitt clear case.. Perfect thing to compliment my Smart Keyboard! Finally my iPad is complete.

Cool, do you have the link for the bag? Going to be traveling in 2 months and I have a laptop bag, but I'm not sure I want to put my iPad and my MacBook Pro in the same bag.. Also great choice in color! The clear shows off my rose gold as well.

Just received my Dodocase:

I just received my Dodocase as well. I've always like the idea of this type of case, but when I had a Pad and Quill Contega for a previous IPad, I found that the wood tray holding the tablet made the whole thing too heavy. Dodo replaced the wood tray with a light plastic tray, and it's made a big difference. The case is now light and functional, as well as nice to look at. Highly recommended for anyone looking for this type of case. http://www.dodocase.com/products/ipad-pro-9-7-cases

Just got the ESR PU Leather Smart Cover Folio case: http://www.amazon.com/ESR-Leather-S...&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

Looks like the color I got (blue/gray) is either sold out or no longer available..weird. They have other colors and also some "oxford cloth" versions. It's a great case, highly recommend it. It fits well, has the right speaker cutouts, and the smart cover works. It comes packed well too. I was impressed for it being only $15.

I bought the blue 'Oxford cloth' case. Soft blue, good traction from the texture, and the speaker holes line up properly. very similar to the speck durafolio I put on my iPad Air, but w/o the typing angle. The price had zoomed up to $16, but that's what happens when you're not an early adopter.

While I'm happy with the Apple case and cover I put on my iPad mini 4, I decided that combination wasn't stable enough for a heavier tablet.

It was a sleeve I got from SF Bags not a bag. I'm not sure if that's what you're asking about. Anyway here is a link to the sleeve.

Has anyone used the www.incase.com sleeves: ICON Sleeve with TENSAERLITE?

https://www.incase.com/shop/sleeves/icon-sleeve-ipad-air/graylumen/

It looks like there is a magnet locking mechanism (?). Any issues with the magnet and the magnet mechanism on the iPad?

Thanks so much,

I don't have one for my iPad however I do have one for my 13" Retina MBP. It's a great sleeve for what it is offering good protection. The magnet can be an issue with the MBP if you use it whilst it's sitting on the sleeve depending on what side the magnet is. The MBP can go to sleep. It's easily avoidable by placing the sleeve so that magnet does not interfere. it's kind of hard to explain. I don't know if the magnet would be an issue with an iPad though. It's definitely a good quality sleeve.

It seems a rather large gap they left for the Smart Cover's "spine". Compare to Apple's Smart Cover with Silicone Case, the combination would leave virtually no metal from the iPad's back showing.

I got the Urban Armor Gear folio case in the mail today finally. Feel like I can carry around my iPad without paranoia.
Fits perfectly, they even did added an amazingly convenient feature of making the cut out for the headphone jack a bit bigger for obscenely large 3.5mm jacks, which in my immediate circumstance is a serious issue on my Otterbox covered iPhone. I love that the case has a screen cover and above all that it's removable and compatible with the Apple Smart Keyboard without removing it from the case.
If Otterbox had had the iPad Pro 9.7" case available at the time I was ordering this one, I probably would have gone for that one, but I don't regret the Urban Armor one bit.

My Zagg preorder arrived today. No cutouts for the speakers... but honestly, I've played a bunch of music and can't tell any sort of difference. I'm going to keep playing with it but thus far, I really like it other than the back case being black!

I really in dire need of a case (cover and back) that also hold the Pencil. The case need to be foldable too, like the Apple (non-keyboard) case.

I just received my iPad Sleeve Case from Waterfield Designs. It comes in several sizes, but of course I ordered mine to fit the 9.7 iPad Pro, with the Smart Keyboard cover and silicone back. Mine is made of ballistic nylon with some leather details. Really well made.

https://www.sfbags.com/collections/ipad-cases/products/ipad-sleevecase

The spec sheet says that this model includes a slot for the Apple Pencil. On the website, there is only one picture of a case for a 12.9 where the pencil slot is on the back cover. When I got mine, there was no slot in this spot. I emailed Gary Waterfield, and he said that the pencil was too long to fit on the back like the case for the 12.9 so instead they put a slot at the top of the 9.7 sleeve behind the cover flap. You won't see this on the website because there are no pictures of it, but this is what it looks like. It keeps the pencil quite secure.

I was thinking about getting this case

http://www.speckproducts.com/apple/...ncil-ipad-pro-9-7-cases/IPP9-SFP.html#start=2

but now that I've got a rubber grip and a pencil cozy it probably won't fit. I don't understand the reviews from people who don't yet have the case. I put a speck durafolio on my iPad Air and it's still going strong.

I actually had this case in the brown waxed canvas. SFbags stuff is so well made and it fit the Pro 9.7 with silicone case and ASK very nicely. I had to return mine because I couldn't deal with the velcro closure. If they had an option with a magnetic closure, I would definitely by that case. Not interested in the Peralta sleeve that they have, which has the magnetic closure. I like having the front cover on the sleevecase version.

My ideal case would have
- nice real leather material in tan or dark brown (or a classy dark red)
- Smart Cover I.e. Sleep wake function
- polymer tray, I'm not a fan of cases that cover the bezel
- kickstand. I don't like the Smart Cover fold thing, I've had that with the decoded iPad Air case (which folds in four, not three) and now with the temporary ESR case and it's just not stable for how I want to use it.
- a good way to hold the Apple Pencil. A loop that is not in the way of normal use would do fine, but not some way to hold the pencil only while the case is closed (Pad & Quill, I'm looking at you). And not magnetic, I'd be worried of it coming of when it shouldn't.

The mac case you posted looks very good, I really like their solution for the pencil, I would almost be ready to forgive the bezel covering, but then I read a review of a previous model on Amazon, it seems it may be impossible to get to the control center (swiping up from the bottom, below where the active screen starts). That is a real worry. It looks like it would work from around the home button but I use the iPad in landscape so often, if you couldn't draw up the control center in landscape mode that would be a deal breaker for me.
