Neo, do you have to use that screen protector for the Griffin Nu Form or can you use your own?

Looks kind of like the incase slider. I don't think they have theirs out for the 3g but i like the way it looked on the original. Nice find

Looks good!:D

How durable is it? If my iPhone falls from about 3 feet... you think it'll absorb the shock?

All I do is smack talk Ghost Armor? I never did. Not once. I'm smack talking you and your buddies that come here singing the praises of this product. You don't even apparently HAVE a 3g phone. Maybe not even a 2g phone! You claim extensive reviews, which we see you did yourself. Not ONE SINGLE Picture do you post. I smack talk Ghost "all day"? LOL

I have Invisible Shield for my MacBook Air. I have Power Support Crystal Shield for my 2g iPhone screen - and I'll never use another product for the screen on anything because it's the best. Period. For my 3g back, I have Invisible Shield, Bodyguardz, and BestSkinsEver. I'm done buying shields and not ordering your product. Mostly because of you & your pals.

Ok im lazy and never post on here, much prefer to just read and learn. But im so over this GA bashing. Iv had in on my 3g for a week now and love it!!..

These pics below were shot in direct sunlight in extreme macro(upclose) mode. So this is the BEST condition to show any kind of texture. So if you THINK you see something, now you know why. Day to day, it looks crystal clear to me AND it pretty much stops all smudges!!

PS- Don't mind the funky clear case around it...and the dust is ABOVE the screen. I just forgot to clean it first.

Those pics look very good. Doesn't appear to be any orange peel effect at all (or very minimal if any).
I still haven't received mine yet, but hopefully tomorrow it will arrive and I will be able to see first-hand what it is like.

+1. Those pics make me even more excited to receive mine.

EDIT: I had asked how the install was, but I just saw your other thread - https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/525726/.

I totally do not understand people who put cases filters and other crappy stuff on their gadgets. It completely defeats the purpose!! Why would you put some crap on your well designed and built device? You pay money to get the filling of aluminum or other nice iphone shiny materials, and to see its beauty as it is, not to spend more money to hide it in some sort of condoms. Will get scratched sooner or later? so what - that is the way it is. Do people who puts this stuff take it off in the evenings at some super safe location to admire build quality and not yet scratched device? Apple did not put anti scratch ******** in the factory, neither you get this stuff in the box, there must be a reason don't you think so? Just enjoy your iphone don't put crap on it :)

I agree that using a condum is like wearing a rain coat to the shower, it just doesn't feel as good, but in my case, I use protection not cause I wiry about scratches, but because I tend to be a butter fingers and drop stuff fairly frequently. So I am looking at the iSkin, looks to have good impact (fall) protection.

Is that a Philippe Stark watch ?

I ordered it from the Apple Store and got it three days ago and have been using it since. It replaced an Agent18 (black) that I really didn't like. It's called the Griffin Nu Form and I LOVE it! Thin, dockable and stylish.

I'm hoping you guys can help me out with my case dilemma. I'm going to get an iphone 3g sometime this week (i'm 80% sure i'm getting the 16gb black version). I'm waiting for the incase slider to be released in august, but in the mean time, i'm trying to decide between the griffn wave, contour flick, the marware sports grip, and the griffin elan form case. These are my concerns about all of them:

Griffin Wave: My sister has the 3g griffin wave, and it felt bulky and a little slippery, but the iphone felt really protected

Contour Flick: I took it out of the box at the apple store and it felt pretty flimsy. It didn't seem like it would do much protection if i dropped the iphone, but it would protect from scratches. Does it feel sturdier when it's acutally on the iphone?

Marware Sport Grip: I've always been a little skeptical of silicone cases because i've heard they stretch out. I know this one also collects a lot of dust, which might ruin the aesthetics of the iphone itself. It looks like it provides good protection though.

Griffin Elan Form Case: I also saw this case in the store, and i'm just unsure about the quality since i haven't put it on an iphone yet.

Which do you guys think would be the best option for me?

Thanks!

Multiple cases?

I know these cases are alotta money, but if you really want good protection and such, I would go with buy a clear hard shell/formed case and then a holster with a belt clip thats big enough to hold the phone with the case. So you can carry it around while you have the iphone covered in case ALL the time and you don't have to deal with the belt clip EVERY single time you want to use ur phone (which, I believe, will be more than just quite a few times). It would be awesome if there was a case package that came with a hard case with attachable belt clip and another attachable car mount and works with the dock. Wouldn't that be the PERFECT case solution? What do you guys think?

Yeah i noticed that too. The front of the case looks especially flimsy to me. Still not sure if I'm gonna get it...

Vaja iVolution Top SP Holster for iPhone 3G in black grain and dark blue stripe... ordered it July 8th.

i have a sena elega case/pouch/holster whatever you wanna call it

I have this as well, the quality is top-notch. It comes in a nice box and also has a fabric pouch. I like the fact that the side is not pinched and stitched together like most other sleeves. It is also lined with a velvety material which cleans the screen off really well when sliding in and out due to its tight fit. I broke the clip off due to its bulk, I never wear my phone on a belt. I just wished it had a small slit so that I can store my cleaning clothe.

Is it easy to take off? You have a 3G iPhone right?
