What case are you preping for the 3GS ?

I got a set of six iPod socks off of ebay yesterday (£2.80 incl shipping!), and they fit the iPhone perfectly (tested this morning on a friends phone) so will be using one of them when its in my pocket.

Stops the dust and junk that gathers in your jeans from scuffing it, although I am sure it will be fine without anything at all.
 
i can't decide.... i want something pretty and feminine... but i want protection (i can be a klutz!)

i'd love one of the shiny mirror finishes... but the couple of reviews i watched on youtube... they are horrid with fingerprints! :(

i like the idea of the feather but it doesn't appear to offer much protection...

so i guess that leaves one of the switcheasys....either a fuschia color or a pink and black rebel (i'd have to buy the pink/red version and an extra black spine)...

decisions decisions decisions (i've been spending all my time looking at cases since monday!)
 
I can't decide either. I want to get the white rebel serpent to match the white iphone I ordered. I want something that'll protect it, not take up a lot of room and not scratch easily.

I have no idea honestly. :confused:

I have a Innocase II and I would NOT recommend it. I've had it since January and already one prong broke off and the other one is halfway broken off. Also, I carry it in my pocket and the dust will get under the bottom bezel cover and scratch the hell out of the bezel. It might be ok for you if you get the holster and are really careful when taking the case on and off. Just telling you my experience.

I'm currently looking for another case right now. Tried on the iSkin solo and the Candyshell at the Apple Store and I didn't like the fit or the way the buttons felt. I might just get an Incase Slider. The only thing I need to decide is should I stick with the PowerSupport Anti-Glare or the better deal of the DLO Anti-glare.
 
Same dilemma. Thinking about the bare-bones Vaja case (iVolution Grip), but after hearing reports of less-than-stellar customer service, added bulk without necessarily adding protection, and the price -- I'm giving it a second thought.

Honestly I would love to let the iPhone go naked, but after 2 dropped iPhone 2G's, I'm not going to take that chance again. I do want the thinnest, best-protecting, least obtrustive case there is, still.
 
I picked up a $10 off brand silicone case at the local superstore until I can decide what case I want to use regularly. I purchased it thinking it was a throwaway but it actually turned out to be pretty good quality. It's a more stiff and non-sticky silicone. I'm trying to decide between the iSkin Solo or Speck Candyshell.
 
I'm dressing my 3GS in leather....Piel Frama Black Crocodile Flip w/ magnetic closures.

As far as leather case go...none are finer that Piel Frama. You Tube has several nice product reviews.

The slider looks great, but does scratch phones....it scratched my 3G pretty good.

I'm currently researching a new case for my 3GS

If u have a case for ur 3G for now and like it then why would u buy another case for S model. They will fit just the same.

I sold my white incipio feather along with my white iphone 3g but now I pre-ordered a black iphone 3gs. I think I'm just gonna get a black matte incase slider to keep it simple. i don't like fruity colors...
 
I've ordered the new 3GS 16GB in white and should get it friday so have started looking at cases, the phone looks so sexy i dont wanna keep it covered up so no one can see it but i dont want any scratches, once while reading these forums i seen that you could get a film protector for the rear of the iphone similar to the ones you can put on the screen, does any one know of this and where i can find?

I believe I've locked myself into a white serpent, to go with the white 3G S I ordered. I just like the look of this case.

I am absolutely sick of EVERYTHING being black, but I do think that speck candy shell is incredibly sexy in black and yellow. :D
 
I've never had a problem with dropping my phone or iPod, so I am not really interested in a case that adds bulk to the phone. So I decided to go with a skin to prevent scratches and was leaning toward the Invisible Shield, but after reading a review that compared it to a Bodyguardz skin and some other one, I started liking the Bodyguardz skin more since it was totally clear and didn't have the orange peel look of Invisible Shield
