Not sure what you mean... phone rings, pull it out of pocket and push up on the bottom so the phone comes out. Not as fast as some of the rubber cases, but just as fast as the majority of leather cases out there. If I'm at my desk, the phone is usually already out of the case sitting on the desk surface, or upright in an Apple dock.
That said, I probably use my phone for calls and texts slightly less than the average user.
Now I'm very confused; this was in response to someone who quoted a previous post by me, and not meant to be in response to your original post.which part didn't you understand??
Well it's a good thing you chimed in with your worthless piece of information. Thanks!

lol.. im confused too. I think it was a decent response to my question. I still dont know if the slide would be practical all the time. But I really like the look and full protection. Was it hard getting used to?

Am I the only one that likes a hip holster? Especially if I leave the phone naked, I don't like carrying in my pocket due to keys, lint, falling out, etc.
It seems they are hard to find with these specs:
1) REAL Leather
2) Belt clip AND Belt loops
3) Magnetic flap closure
4) Access to headphone jack while in holster
