The only sad thing about grown adults are the ones who get shamed into thinking that they are "evil" or "brutish" for thinking there's such a thing as girl colors and boy colors. They do indeed exist. It is instinctual.

I think subconsciously, some black iPhone users (the ones that claim "I didn't get white because its girly") are pissed because a white iPhone came and triumphed over the black.

And btw, saw 2 customers with white iPhones at work today, both dudes. Again, got to admit that most of the people I see with white iPhones are guys. Face the facts.

Black. I have a White psp. Son has a black psp. I always looked at his with envy. He looked at mine the same. Got him a black iPod because after the white psp I just feel it disappears better. I found white catches my eye all the time and draws me out of the expereince. Almost bought one though as its so stormtrooper

I bought my GF a full color swap for her iPhone 4S. it feels almost OEM
It was decent, it ships from china. It took about 12-14 days to get to my house. I live on the east coast of the USA in Pennsylvania.

I reserved the black iPhone (thought about reserving a white as well), even though I was still a bit undecided but when I got to the Apple Retail Store, I immediately knew that I had made the right choice. In my opinion, the black phone looked professional, conservative and looked slimmer than the white ---even though it is not, and I was sold.

I get my iPhone 4s tomorrow so excited but i am swaying to the white, i feel as if it is the right choice because i believe the black is very common and i want to "be different". that is my two cents. Thank you all for participating, it means a lot <3

Word of warning:
It seems the popular color choice for the 4S is white because it wasn't available with the 4 launch. And Apple is pushing the white more this year.
I used to think the same way (white looks a bit fruity, no?). But fingerprints and minor scratches are allegedly far less visible on the white one. I see that as a significant advantage despite the fact that I'm male.
A scratch on the white bezel would make the scratch twice as noticeable! It basically doubles because of the reflection.
I would get (and already have) black.

I wouldn't get white, or any other color, because they are not manly. Not for real men. Someone might think I'm not manly and butch if I got a white phone. That would be terrible, because I'm such a manly man.
Any man who gets a white phone, or wants any other color, is very suspect.
