What colour of Apple leather case did you buy?

Didn’t like the marketing pics of the forest green. Reminded me too much of my burgundy/hunter green bedroom in the 90s. Ordered the cape cod blue, hated it in person. Too country blue. Saw the forest green in store and really liked it. It only looks super green in bright sunlight. Otherwise it has this really dark green/slight blue look.
Well Spidey, I barely could hold mine. It felt like I wouldn't make it a single day. I really was nervous about it. Just too expensive for hand juggling a glass wafer. Feels like a bar of wet soap

The stock Apple cases look like garbage in three months. Both leather and silicone.
Get AppleCare and no case. When your phone is all dinged up, throw it full force against the pavement, pay the $99nor something and get a new one. It’s cheaper

Saddle brown. The only choice. Just gotta get that nice used leather patina on it.
I go naked most of the time but I bought the cape cod blue for my gold Max but exchanged it for saddle brown which is what I used for the last year on my Silver X. I spent 3+ hours on launch day with IUP and Sprint issues so the store gave me a complementary screen protector and case - I chose the Cape Cod blue.

What was bad about the folio? Apple mistakenly gave me a black folio when I ordered the leather case. I’m trying to decide if I want to exchange it or keep the free case upgrade.
The card pocket can only hold one or two cards. That's basically 1 ID and 1 CC or debit card. I typically need 5 cards and thats not including any membership cards like Costco, Fitness, ETC... Plus I have to show ID basically daily so i don't understand why they didn't include an ID window plus maybe 2-3 card slots... As it stands apple's folio is useless to me.
A real shame, its very nice leather.
I had no idea the cases also were backed by the 1 year warranty. What happens if it's a case color that's no longer offered? Do you get one of the newer ones then?
I got an aubergine colored one last year, thinking it would be a deep eggplant purple and it looks black instead. I'm still under my 1 year period.

I ordered the taupe then changed my mind and got the red which is absolutely gorgeous .
I needed a wallet case and after looking all over for something nice I finally gave in and got the folio in green . It arrived this morning and is better than anything I had imagined .

Probably because in some countries ( Like mine ) IDs are of a different size . I actually went for the folio because it didn't have a window .

Used my X naked for a year. Looks great to me. No scratches on the sceeen. Minor wear on the frame.

Apples own photos are misleading, the XS Folios have a two-tone colour design, as shown below. And this is why I say time and time again, notably with watch bands too - see the Apple accessory in person. The online pictures are not really accurate representations all of the time.
That being said, definitely happy with my Cape Cod Blue folio, looks waayyy better in person. Not too bright, flashy, and still a nice colour all the same.
I am holding my iPhone XS Max in Gold at the moment, it feels STICKY the sides out of the box in a good way... like very sticky. I don't know why but at least I can guarantee it won't slip off my hands
I originally purchased the Cape Cod blue and really wanted to like it.. but it was too bright (I like the muted colors better) so I returned it. I am waiting to see what colors apple releases next - my favorite color was the cosmos blue and I really hope they re-release it or something like it.
