They need to sell an unlocked version here in the states. I'm sick of having to always wait for an unofficial unlock.
Video of course.
I was blown away when I first saw the iPhone demonstrated. It's easy to forget how ahead of its time the iPhone was when it was first introduced. There really wasn't anything else like it out there.
I really don't get why people want video calling. It's the worst feature ever. For me, the autofocus camera would be a selling point.
Why do you believe it's the worst feature ever?
It's a phone.
If you are in a position to do a video call, it is possible to do it through another, established means such as iChat or Skype.
'Established video call' on a phone is UMTS video call, not those programs.
Okay, but if you're in a position to make a video call from a phone, you'll have something else available to you.
You miss the whole point. You make video calls only with your phone and 3G to ANY video call capable 3G phone.

No, that's exactly the point. How the heck do you know if the person you're calling is in a position to get the video call?
It isn't an iPhone. It has a physical keyboard.

Oh, so having two touchscreens?
Hmm.
They'd never do it. You'd be wasting the second screen 90% of the time.
How do you know when you make a phone call that the other person will be able to answer?
Exactly!
You just make a normal phone call and save the video for a computer videoconference.
Seriously.
Honestly, you're on the bus, you're on the subway, you're driving, you're walking, you're at a diner...
Virtually EVERYWHERE, you are NOT in a position to hold your phone straight out, two feet away from your face, to talk to someone. You make yourself a target for thieves and rarely have that amount of room on a commute, nor is it physically possible within standard safety parameters most of the time (e.g., driving!).
You're not going to do it while walking down the street or at a restaurant. You'll do it sitting down at a desk or on a sofa at home, and you can just use your freaking computer in any of the usable situations.
It's a gimmick. Are there even any other phones that have video calls?
