What did you do with your iDevices once you upgraded to something new? Did you sell them? Did you pass them down to a friend or family member? Are they sitting in a drawer somewhere collecting dust? I'm interested. :)

iPod shuffle 1st gen -> given to my mom when I got the iPod Classic
iPod Classic -> given to my mom when I got the iPod Touch 2nd gen
iPod Touch 2nd gen -> sitting in a drawer somewhere (I got my mom an iPod Touch 5th gen, so she did not need this one)
iPhone 4 -> given to my husband when I got the iPhone 4s
iPad 2 -> given to my husband when I got the iPad 4
iPhone 4s -> given to a close friend when I got the iPhone 5s

I still use all 11 of my idevices every single day...

My iPhones I've passed down to my wife who in turn passed them down to the children.
My old 2007 Mac mini is still in the box after being upgraded to the latest model last week. Not sure what to do with that yet.

Make it into a HTPC. Why buy an Apple TV when you have a spare Mac Mini for the job?

iPhone 3GS - gave to my dad
iPhone 4 (black) - same
iPhone 4 (white) - gave to bf
iPhone 5 - was stolen
When I get iPhone 6/6S, bf will get iPhone 5S.

Passed my old iPhone to a friend, who expressed her gratitude in unmentionable ways!

The 4 went to my Dad
My 5 went to my mom
My daughters 5 went to my sister.

The cycle will continue :D

I usually sell them to offset the cost of buying the new iDevice. The only old one I have kicking around is a first generation iPod touch, though it sits in a drawer for the most part.

They become back-ups.

I usually sell my iPhone once I upgrade, but I recently purchased a used 4s on the cheap as a back up to my 5s, just in case something happens.

But usually for iPod's and iPad's, once I upgrade, the older device goes on eBay.

I got a new iPhone 5s almost 4 weeks ago and I am not sure what to do with my iPhone 4s... eBay, Craigslist, trade in with Apple store or Best Buy for gift card. :apple:

Whenever I go back to iphone, I get bored of it a bit, sell it, get an android device, miss my iDevice, and then get a new iDevice. Rinse and repeat :D

But, this iPhone, I'm not bored of so far, definitely living up to the statement of "It just works seamlessly"
