I like them, but I grant you that speaker preference is a purely personal thing. To me they sound really warm and musical, but that's just me.

You must have a really bad ear infection or something. :p

Infinity makes some nice speakers, too...IMHO

Okay, I'll give you that. Some are pretty good.

yea, I really like the sound of a Fender Telecaster too, but for whatever reason a lot of people don't. And I could never really stand Peter Gabriel, but everybody seemed to love him back in the day...

so it goes...

I don't think everything Apple is overpriced. The 20" Cinema Display and Mac minis could and should be cheaper, but the problem with Apple is they don't have a terribly wide range of products that hit every conceivable price point we might want.

Gawd, auto parts are a major racket. We've been living with a dead driver's side power window on our VW Golf for months because shelling out the $800+ to fix it just pisses us off too much.

Most, if not all, forms of insurance are majorly overpriced, especially health insurance in the good old US of A. Spend hundreds of dollars a month on it, and when you finally need it, the HMOs work their tails off trying to find obscure subclauses in your policy to deny you coverage.

Really, though, isn't that related to crude oil prices? Besides, isn't heat free in Miami? I'd think cold would be a bigger expense.

- Starbucks.
- McDonald's. (I'd rather get a heart attack for free by shooting air into my veins!)
- Lots of things at Radio Shack.
- Gas.
- Medicine.
- Chinese food.
- Organic food, unfortunately
- Food.
- Vegetarian meat alternatives
- Clothes
- College
- Owning a place to live
- Vacations
- Macs (unless you value iLife, no malware, general usability and UI friendliness ;))

I laughed at the Apple RAM comment.

I find name brand clothing can often be a tad expensive.

Something about spending 100 bucks on a pair of pants that look like someone wore while scaling a barb wired fence and then had a dog take a crap on them just makes me feel that you are getting ripped off.

Of course I can't imagine why people would want these pants to begin with even if they cost 10 bucks.

You're telling me... I was at an aquarium in Miami the other day, and they were charging $3 for one bottle of water. You had no choice to buy one because there were no fountains anywhere, and you walked around in the 90 degree Miami heat all day.

How ironic - being at an aquarium, yet having no water. Brutal.

Another overpriced item - airport food.
