I'm a pilot. Fun job although I'm gone a lot.

Happy with it? Unstoppable looked pretty exciting. :)

Haha, yes, I love my job. And while Unstoppable was a good movie, it was just disappointing knowing all the things that were technically wrong with the movie.
One of the biggest things is that all locomotives must have a "dead-man" feature, requiring the engineer to either keep a foot on a pedal, flip a switch every 20 or so seconds, etc. If this isn't done, the train will automatically apply an emergency application on the brakes. If the dead-man feature is not working properly, a qualified person must sit with the engineer incase something happens to him, to act as the dead-man feature.

I forget was the deadman switch an issue in that movie? I thought it was supposed to be somewhat based on a real incident.

Last I heard train engineers are well paid. Is there a union floating about? ;) If so is there pressure to bring down wages? I completely understand if you don't feel like discussing it here...

Surprised such an interesting thread died in 2012 and was just revived today! In any event, I work for a company that sells corporate sponsorships for college sports.

In my mind most people who own apple products are a fan of beauty. Obviously this beauty does not come cheap. So what job do you have? I work as a IT assistant at a company that ships snack goods to different countries.
I even cant find what job suit me :(

designer of lots of different spaces, buildings and products. If I settle for one I would be bored within a year......
Currently my main source of income is store designer for a large fast fashion retailer. I get to do some international travel with this job, which is a bonus.

Same job for me; basically; just slightly different projects/initiatives from time to time.

I found my original post. Still doing the same thing but for a different company. I still have the same sentiment.
How many bricks meanwhile ?

Crises Intervention Specialist with a minor in customer and boss placation. I get to play with things that go boom and also spend a heck of lot of my time on the computer justifying why we need mission critical equipment to keep the wheels of just spinning.

I'm the director of quality and food safety at a local snack company, in addition to being a full-time graduate student. I plan on attending medical school after grad school so I still have a long road of education ahead.

My living is spent of MR replying to posts. :D ... other than that, the rest is not up for disclosure.

(um. a snack company) ...... looks like you're business will double very soon :)

Currently, I am involved in a Hotel business with my father. Actually, it is our family business.

I currently attend a private non-religious high school and work part-time at a public library. That's not what I'll be doing for "a living", but certainly working with books is something I like :) I will probably try and become a teacher.
