when i'm stressed and down, i don't like to think. anything that causes my mind to stray will do. such activities include: watching television, eating, playing video games, grabbing coffee with friends (good way to pass time w/o serious thought) and even sleep.

what i don't like to do is exercise or drive. i'm always thinking about things i'm worrying about when i exercise/drive. it's not a good thing to do while either exercising or (esp.) driving, but it's what happens. :eek:
 
I try to listen to calming music, lay out, and/or try to take a nap. If i manage to let go and take a nap, I'll almost always wake up happier, even if the situation isn't better :eek:
 
Drive my Mitsubishi Evo to the limit, or for a more sedate pick-me-up I watch Batman Begins.....(why ? because it's dark, like my mood at the time, but has such a good ending I feel good by the last frame)
