Often doesn't take my hr reliably

Slow

No customizations of home screen( I want photos but with text over them)

When people ask me "what's it do?" I don't have anything to really "show off" with.

No Facebook app.
SAME HERE. There like oh what is so special about it and I say absolutely nothing.

I hate the fact I can't delete all my messages at once. One at a time and to add insult to injury I have to basically confirm I want to delete it. With 20 or 30 a day it's a pain.

I really don't hate anything. I wish the battery was better. While I'm used to it, the UI is not very apple like, i.e., easy and intuitive but overall I'm happy.

Apple Watch is a gadget lovers dream.

To get the best experience it's going to kill your productivity and burn up hours of time tinkering to get it to do what you want it to do.

This watch is to be avoided if you want to put it on and go about your day. I know, that's one of the reasons I returned mine.

Thats been my experience with smartwatches in general. Its a great toy and at times can help with notifications, but makes you less productive overall while doing more with your technology.

If the Calendar would sync reliably with my Exchange calendar I'd be 200% happier.

They STILL haven't fixed the issue with recurring meeting changes.

Outlook is always correct. iPhone is always correct. Watch shows different appointments.

My #1 reason for having the Watch is unreliable and it's a fix they made on the iPhone 2 years ago.

Drives. Me. Nuts.

When I hear complaints about the heart rate not being as good as other devices, we should say this a little different... my other dedicated heart rate devices might work better than my apple watch which does heart rate and 100 things the dedicated device can't even do. Yet, I find the Apple Watch Heart Rate monitoring to be fantastic and dead on with my other devices. I can also work on the yard and listen to music and do many other things these other devices can't do while still tracking my heart rate.

Native apps for me load extremely fast - any app that goes back to the phone are slow. Drafts4 loads instantly, Carrot loads in half a second, fantastical is extremely fast and I also have the glance setup to always have current info without the phone. My banking app has my current balance always there and accurate at a glance. None of these other devices can even do any of this...

You are all right in certain aspects though... there is some slowness to non native apps, the heart rate may not be perfect when OCD has us comparing it to a dedicated HR device that only does HR for $100-$250. Compare it that way...

Do you have another device that can even come close to all the things we are complaining about that the Apple Watch doesn't do as well as our other dedicated devices?

I hated the thought of a square screen when I first heard Apple was coming out with a square screen when I already saw the Moto 360 round screen. That is until I held the Moto 360. Sure, it is round, but it feels cheap and looks so bland. What does as much or more than the Apple Watch that is worth comparing that is the same size and quality of the stainless steel without looking ugly?

I don't hate anything about my AW - in fact it's possibly my favourite gadget from the last few years: The more I use it, the more I enjoy it.

Could there be improvements? Sure - everything can be improved, but there's nothing that prevents me enjoying it :)

I should have commented like you... I love everything about the Apple Watch especially the looks and the band switching and all the choices I have from the SS Link Bracelet to the three sport bands to the 5 other leather bands I now own. I can have about 8 different looks depending on what I am wearing.

I am actually surprised at how much I can do without the iPhone even in the same city as my Apple Watch. But number 1 is how good it looks and how much it can do that has saved me from the endless checking of my phone and always wondering where I set it down in the house and people trying to reach me. :)

It is also my favorite/favourite device in the last many years.

I like the watch, but it is slow and a bit laggy... that's really my only 2 complaints.

Beyond that, my wishlist is that I do wish they made it easier for app makers to utilize the watch features (even Strava is struggling with OS 2) and I do hope they open up watch faces to app developers soon.

Nothing, I love my watch. It was a little slow with 2.0 but 2.01 fixed all that for me.

You can clear all notifications at once with Force Press. Or are you thinking of something else?

Hate is a strong word, but i don't like too much about it at all..
The interface is just horrid, the battery poor, the apps are not there.. and its over priced.

- if I'm wearing the watch I don't get notifications on my phone. Hate this. Why not at least give me an option to 'also show notifications on iPhone'?

- I want some rectangular watch faces that better match the face. With the tick marks around the border of the screen.

- no always on option. I often check the time on normal watches by glancing at my wrist with no wrist movement (or only small movement) - not the big twist AW wants. My android wear GWR had an always on mode and I really appreciated it. I finish the day with decent battery life so I think a dimmed display with simple watch face (just hands) wouldn't take too much battery life as it is older?

I would have LOVED the option to have my iPhone STILL make notification sounds while using the watch but Apple, in all it's wisdom, decided we did not need that option!

Also, why are all my app notifications the same vibration? Why can't I select custom vibrations per app? I use inbox instead of map as I use gmail and want push notifications but because it's a third party app I'm stuck with a generic notification

I'm having completely the opposite experience, now that I've had the watch a while and the newness has worn off. The large majority of the time, I only look at the watch to occasionally check time/date/weather, unless it buzzes me for a notification. The Watch lets me keep my phone in my pocket much more, so I am wasting much less time per day screwing around with apps or on the web.

What a shame you only had it for such a short time to fully experience it, as a result you're not really in a position to offer any valid opinion. Should've held on, you've missed out on so much.

Like most here, I don't "hate" my Apple Watch. I am going today to buy a Huawei as a possible replacement though. Coming from a Pebble, I'm having a hard time adjusting to not have an always on display. True, the wrist flick is pretty responsive, but sometimes I glance at my watch when I'm typing at my desk and can't seem the time. It's a little thing, I know, but it bugs me. I also agree that it is SLOW! I don't even bother with apps on it.

Another reason that I'm going to try switching to the Huawei. I was spoiled by this option with my Pebble watches. It's a nice feature to have.

The notifications I get on my watch are mirrored on my iPhone and they sync up so if I dismiss a notification from one device it disappears from the other. If not, it will continue to display in the notification area for both devices. This works perfectly for my purposes.

which is great. But if I'm sitting on my sofa having an on-off conversation via messenger or something, then the phone lighting up is a nicer way for me to interact with it than checking my watch to see what that notification is, and then picking the phone up.

the option would be nice rather than Apple deciding what is best for us.

Mirror notifications from phone on/off
Notifications only on watch on/off
