Oh wtf?! Haven't heard about this. So I bought a white band that I didn't want because it was the least offensive of the other revolting colours that I didn't want. And now there are other choices? Gutted, I would have been delighted with dark blue instead of the foul bright blue they insist on offering.

OK I'm calmer now. Yes it's all about the watch and not the strap (although it's still £40 of my hard earned cash) but even so. I detest the usual range of colours. My 3 year old loves them. I'm not 3.

You must have wanted what you ordered, otherwise you wouldn't have placed the order. ;)

i want that red! (if it's as gorgeous in person as it is on my monitor!)

however the more i think about it..... (1) apple will probably charge double for these little $5.00 pieces of rubber.... i won't pay more than what the original crappy colors sell for.... and (2) i'm sick of their little game letting the celebs have watches, what is IMO a crummy roll out/presale.....

Well.. Good for you

Thanks. I like my lightweight titanium watch. It tells the time, and being solar powered has never needed a battery replacement or charging in well over 10 years.

I've already got an iPhone. I don't need a second screen for it on my wrist that needs charging every 18 hours, with a rip-off price tag depending on the strap I pick.

Sorry if this offends you.

Apple lost their way with the Watch. Badly.

I saw this ... and thought "I really don't care" as I won't be buying an Apple Watch.

i wonder why you are in the apple watch section of the forum if you don't care and won't be buying one?

why waste your time reading about and commenting on something you have no interest in?

oh i know: troll!

You know the same was said about the iPod?

And the iPhone.

And the iPad?

Don't you?

The iPod/iPhone/iPad were sold as technology products, not fashion items. Find me a early 00s Apple manufactured and marketed iDevice in Rose Gold at 45x the standard RRP using the same electronics.

I clicked on new posts and it caught my interest. Thanks for jumping to conclusions, however I'm not a troll.

I'm done with the thread. Carry on whipping yourself up into a frenzy for some overpriced plastic bands in "new" colours.

I like the red one as well. Would go great with the space grey sport! I really wish though that they would make the leather loop available for the 38mm... Or maybe even a battery band that will connect via the diagnostic port improving battery life!

What's with the ten shades of pink? Are they going to be named like makeup colors: bisque, buff, porcelain, beige, honey, etc? I'm actually waiting on the soft pink modern buckle because it is closest to my skin color and thus most subtle on me. Those pink ones would make a nice option, although where are the non-Caucasian variants?

they look truly amazing but i am sure these are all edition bands due to the gold pin they seem to have. too bad :/

The one JJ is wearing looks like it has the stainless pin so it'll probably be available in both. I'm sure these will eventually be available to everyone; they're just going to make us wait a bit.

Cool story, Bro.

It could be the Star Wars special edition band available December.

Not sure why no one else has said it, but it's hard to tell the actual colors of the bands because the photo was clearly taken with Potato Phone.

I wonder if or when these will be released? It seems a bit soon after announcing pre-orders and the colours available.

i was actually going off the other picture of the red band for the ocean guy.... that photo makes the red look simply gorgeous on my monitor!

i agree that the picture makes all the colors look kind of washed out... BUT i can imagine what some of the actual colors are (i'll bet the navy will be pretty in person! the pinks, not so much.... too pale....)

I typically love Apple and I give them the benefit of the doubt more than I should. At the same time I am starting to get sick and tired of the elitist methods they are using to attempt to gain traction in the fashion community. The gold band or even the exclusive color bands. They have always done some of this in the past but this time it is starting to bother me. Maybe it is just me.

I have a May date for a Milanese watch. I also ordered the black band.

I agree, they are really flaunting these limited run watches to the uber rich which they are producing just for them! Meanwhile we are left waiting for months to just get a standard run watch. Maybe if they focused on producing the standard watches we could all get ours sooner or oh I dunno, at launch!

On a separate not I would hope more sport band colors are to come that are not so loud.

dark blue/navy band... DO WANT... i wouldn't mind the red too... how about gray? no gray?

The reality is that most people who will flock to buy the watch will only do it once they see celebrities wearing it. Most likely for Christmas. Apple isn't trying to sell us watches. They know we already ordered one.

Apple have sold around 2.5 million, but that's not much when you consider the number of people worldwide who own iPhones that are able to pair with the watch.

We always run the risk of not having all options available as early adopters. It's usually just not a biggie because we do not have to pay 50 bucks for an ugly case we will never use along with our launch day iPhone. We can buy a cheap case at launch and wait for nicer ones later.

Future generations of the watch may be similar, though early adopters will always have to chose from whatever is available at launch for their initial band unless Apple does a case only upgrade one day. If they do, I bet it'll be like the fully unlocked phone. Unavailable at launch.

Do you walk in to the store and yell "I'M NOT BUYING ANYTHING IN HERE"?

No, but it's not a bad idea if they open a special watch store.

See the things in my Sig? I'm likely to buy another Mac or iOS device in the future. Just not the watch in it's current form.
