1. Make the GUI of iOS more like OS X. Microsoft has done an excellent job of creating a seamless user experience between platforms. Apple not so much.

2. Either terminate Siri and adopt Alexa or, fix Apple's terrible voice feature. When I issue a HomePod Siri command, my Watch 3, iPad, iPhone and MacBook Pro all compete for attention. Allow users to nickname their Apple devices to prevent command confusion.

3. Apple needs to step back from its hardware fa$hion battles or lose the hardware war. Microsoft, Samsung, LG, Xiaomi...... have caught up to Apple and now racing past them in a number of areas.

Real focus on feature completion improvements between macOS and iOS. That is to say, remove the discrepancies of iOS-only features and macOS-only features.

For example, you CAN rotate photos in iOS by fine degrees, but you can only rotate by increments of 90° in macOS Preview.

Any of these would be nice, but none are every likely to appear:

- iPhones with both touch and face ID, and the choice to use either or both.
- A means to block trackers in iOS apps.
- An upgrade to iTunes so that it can do the simple task of copying music from a Mac to an iPhone quickly and reliably.

Back to basic that Design is about how it works, not how it looks.

We first had TouchBar, the major problem with Touch Bar is consumer are roughly paying ~$200 more for it, on top of the normal Apple Macbook's margins. That is $200 that doesn't bring any *value* to majority of users. And in fact for some users, it is actually a step backwards.

We have the so call Edge to Edge Design, in order to not have a slightly longer bezel at either top or the bottom, Apple's "innovation" was to have it curved inside. Consumer is roughly paying ~$80 more for this. What *value* does this bring?

We have thinner Butterfly keyboard! In order to have the Keys thinner, which have absolutely no relations to thinner Laptop because other manufacture has proved you don't need these thinner keys to achieve those thickness. There is less key travel, worst keys spacing, and worst of all It is extremely easy to break, expensive to manufacture. Again consumers are paying more when it has little to no benefits.

It can't be coincidence, but it is showing Johnny Ive without Steve Jobs to keep him intact is going wrong all over the place.

There is something very wrong for logic board design in the post 2015 MBP. But these aren't the first time Apple Screwed up, we have even seen many of them in Steve Jobs Era. But the different here is when Steve knew about these problems, and he knew they were serious enough, it would have been quietly fixed in the next iteration. But we don't have these any more, same design flaws are left there for years. Apple is becoming more of a Marketing company. And it is sad to see.

Make my iPad Pro more Pro:
  1. Cursor support (doesn’t have to be a mouse) when using my external keyboard
  2. Actual full web browser
  3. Better handling of files and folders (doesn’t have to be Finder, just better)
  4. Ability to dock and use outside of touch would be a nice add
  5. Select text using Apple Pencil
  6. Pro Apple apps please!
  7. Let running apps in the background continue to run, it’s not an iPhone! (Eg Amazon WorkSpaces app disconnects way too quickly as a result)
It’s such a shame I have all this horsepower and I can’t utilize it.

iOS coming of age and being an equal to macOS. Things big and small: from better file management to the long-awaited forward-backspace with fn+delete, please.

I would like a Mac photo app that automagically detects and displays my photos that I organized in a folder structure. Basically a picasa like photo viewer that is not in the cloud. I have a NAS for my pictures. I don’t want to upload them all. Just let me see them. Let anyone in my family add pics to this folder and the photo app recognizes added photos and displays them beautifully without requiring “importing” or “add to library”

iOS wants...

- Disable _all_ autoplaying media in Safari. Right now I’m using content blockers but they’re not perfect.
- Automatically request the desktop version of web sites in Safari. This includes correcting Google AMP links and stupid m./mobile./t. redirects.
- Prevent apps from stopping the music I’m listening to.
- Fix the issue where some apps don’t stop the music, but they lower its volume.
- Full access to files on connected storage devices - in the Files app, and via API support that apps can tap into.

macOS wants...

- Full support for HTML5 input types in Safari.
- Faster, better feature parity with Chrome ECMAScript support in Safari.
- Clone Chromium’s dev tools in Safari.
- Integrated support for using iOS devices as second screens or input devices (an extension of the touch bar or the Apple TV Remote app concept).
- Remove garbage apps (stickies, chess, etc) from the default install.
- iCloud backups that work more like iOS iCloud backups - getting a new system up and running with all my configurations and app downloads quickly.

Hardware wants...

- Over-the-ear headphones that don’t add far too much low-end to the mix, i.e. not Beats.
- A wireless mouse with a charging port placed so you can still use the mouse while it charges.
- An end to making devices thinner. Add a couple of milimeters and fill it with battery.
