Smaller iPhone's not gonna happen. The 12 and 13 mini didn't sell well at all.
Personal preferences and “taste” may have changed in the meantime. “Always on” devices in the household (laptops - pads) have become more and more omnipresent to do tasks that require screen estate. Voice control functionalities are becoming better. I would need a companion in my pocket for the now and then exceptional tasks while on the go. Screen size somewhere around 5.x and at the same time thin and lightweight would be a dream

Would like to see nice colours on Pro models of iPhone. A red one will be good. Also will be nice if a larger non Pro iMac is released, though most likely this won't be happening.

Here’s a couple of little, doable things… when you read a magazine in news+ you should be able to tap a story headline and have it expand out like reader mode in safari, instead of having to zoom and scroll everything (something pressreader has had for years), and when you read a graphic novel in books they should have each panel fill the screen in cinema-style view (something the kindle app has had for years)

You should be able to run your iPhone in a mode with just text, phone and may be a few apps with big buttons for people that are not technologically capable.
YES!! Nobody else has suggested this.. so many folk have older parents / people they care for & being able to use FaceTime easily for ‘non tech oldies’ would be fantastic. Even the option to simply go massive button mode? Can a family setup be done so my mum has for example an SE model & I can remotely set up huge buttons or even if I could be authorised to start a call with her so she doesn’t even need to figure out how to press it..

A 27" 5K ASD with the build of the current ASD, with no camera or speakers for $999.
Siri that works better with Apple Maps. Actually, just works better, period.

Polycarbonate unibody MacBook 13", with the look of the original but preferably a lot thinner.

Apple A18
12GB Unified Memory
128GB SSD Storage (upgradeable to 256GB for a extra $100)
30Wh battery
1 Thunderbolt / USB 4 port

Price: $599

I know it's not gonna happen but I think it would be a pretty cool product.

Products

Realistic IMO

1. 5.4' iPhone 17 Pro to Replace my 5.4' iPhone 12 Mini (in-love with the single-handed form factor).
2. 32' Studio Display Pro with the SAME Pro Motion mini-LED display as my 14' M3 Pro MacBook Pro.
3. 8-9' iPad Pro mini with a 3:4 Aspect-ratio (the 2:3 is so android-like and it's just AWFUL)

Not Realistic IMO

1. 1499$  Vision Pro.
2. 12-13' MacBook Pro (12' MacBook Form Factor) Thinner & Lighter than current MacBook Air.
3. Many More Health Sensors such as Blood Glucose and Blood Pressure in the next Series 11 Apple Watch.

Services (Apple need to drop the + in the naming IMO)

1.  News in Israel
2.  Fitness in Israel
3. 50G upgrade tiers such as 100/150/200/250/300G etc iCloud Storage Options, not 50g-200g-2t, it's unfair at this point.

As an iPhone user I’m surprised anyone buys Android.
Android offers things which Apple will not. For example, I get a fingerprint sensor, my choice of default apps and proper sideloading, all of which I consider important enough to stop buying iPhones.
How often on this forum does one hear some variant of "Apple won't do that, buy an Android if you want it"?
The phone itself (Pixel 8 Pro) is very good. I have mostly solved the issues of cross-platform compatibility with iPhone-using family members.
The Pixel watch 3 is also very good. The only thing I miss about the Apple watch is the greater availability of straps.
My solution to Android/Mac integration differs from this one; instead, I switched to Linux (which works well for my job and the casual gaming I do).

Here's the dream:
Apple Smart Bulb: Give me a smart bulb that's matter over thread, high CRI, accurate colors, plays well with light switches, always connected. Adaptive lighting and the ability to sync white temperatures so every light in the room is the same shade of white. No hubs. (I know Apple doesn't make smart home devices like this but nobody else has done it right, I always have to compromise, so let's see Apple's take on Edison's baby)

realistic hopes:
HomeOS - advanced notifications and automations using AI. I'd say buy Homey, but LG already did. But something that full featured and customizable, and with Siri integrations and iOS native notifications.
AppleTV - higher refresh rates, like 4k120, and have it run the HomeOS from above.

Could be happening, would be exciting:
Apple AirPort Extreme refresh - mesh router with thread to enhance Apple Home / Matter smart devices
Apple Home Camera - face recognition and AI to enhance automation / apple secure video

Not this year but eventually:
iPad mini Pro - Face ID and OLED promotion screen
CarPlay 2.0 (that wouldn't require a new car)

Stupid design if true. Needs to be wall mountable: a home hub device should go where your light switches and climate controls etc go. Nobody wants another appliance cluttering up their kitchen counters etc.

Hopefully this image is fake.
“It will be able to be mounted on a wall, but Apple is also designing a dock that it can slot into that will let it sit on a table or desk. The desktop base could include additional speakers for playing music.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman has suggested that the smart home device will have a hemispherical base similar to the iMac G4, with the small screen positioned at an angle on the base.”

40 inch 10k 21:10 Ultrawide monitor
This would be the end game monitor for me

Vision Pro 2 with PCVR support
I only have the budget for one high end VR system and I want to be able to use it for MSFS 2024 and also with VisionOS.

I'd also challenge the notion that a "very small minority" of users are on 5k displays. The "very small minority" is users who are on desktop computers at all, like 5% or less.

Most of those laptops will live semi-permanently on desks, connected to monitors. And given many people are reluctant to pay for a $200 RAM upgrade, it's unlikely they spent $1600+ on their screen.

I can't understand wanting a giant monitor. I have a 27" and I borderline dislike it because I have to look up to see the top of the screen. I don't want to ever have a screen above eye level unless it's a tv, and across the room.

That said, I'm not a gamer. Only games I play are board games.
