Back in the day I used to occasionally partake of
  • Cannabis (smoked with Nicotine of course)
  • LSD
  • Ecstasy
  • GHB
  • Amyl Nitrate
But these days I'm more of an
  • Alcohol
  • Caffeine
kind of guy.

I have to say, those of you that avoid the drugs aren't actually missing much. Bit of a big con really :)

I take only prescription medications. I have taken:
-Venlafaxine
-Synthroid (thyroid)
-Celexa
-Abilify (sp?)
-Paxil
-Seriquel (sleeping)

All of those but Synthroid and Seriquel are antidepressants. I still take Venlafaxine, Synthroid and Seriquel. I probably spelled most of the names wrong. Oh well.

I used to abuse inhalants, but I stopped while I was in a psychiatric hospital.

Edit: I'm prescribed those. I'm not addicted to them.

is it really wise to admit to doing illegal drugs? ESPECIALLY if you are underage as well?

people forget the internet is forever and also that you can get in trouble if you are underage and drinking and have photos on facebook to prove it for example

why people will say anything just because someone asks is beyond me. no good at all comes from admitting anything. all you do is reply to a thread (which no one really cares about your answers) and open the door to further issues down the road potentially

thats my 2 cents

I can honestly and proudly say.... none!

I'm on board with you. I have never done any of the illegal drugs, and never had any prescription drugs either, except on a few very rare occasions where I just came from the doctor, which I can count on one hand for my whole life (34 years). I drink my fair share of beer, smoke the occasional cigarette, and drink coke like it's the only thing keeping me alive, but that's the extent of it.

Well I've used:

  • alcohol (of course)
  • marijuana (of course)
  • shrooms
  • oxycodone
  • vicodin
  • salvia (not illigal yet!)

salvia is by far the strangest substance, shrooms are the most fun, and vicodin is my favorite.

Couple shots of Devil's Springs every morning.

In all seriousness though I do all of the "normal" drugs. And, salvia sucks.

For the life of me, I can't understand how anybody who has ever drawn breath has been able to get hooked on vicodin.

When I had my vasectomy the doctor prescribed vicodin "for the pain." When I left the office, I wasn't feeling any pain, and the incisions were so small I couldn't imagine any pain.

Turns out the pain is much, much deeper below the surface, and hits you about 4-5 hours after the procedure.

I got to where I was taking two at a time, and the pills didn't even come close to putting a dent in the pain. I finished the bottle in three days, with no relief whatsoever. My wife suggested that I ask for more, but I just saw it as a waste of ten bucks at the Walgreen's.

I'm too cheap to spend money on drugs.

I spend 26 cents on refills of Coca-Cola though. My only vice.

I can't justify spending money on something I'm going to literally light on fire. Which makes me real fun around July 4th in the States.

I was going to class one day and was late because I overslept and in the grass I saw a bag... and in the bag was oh-essex. I've been on oh-essex every day since I tried it.

OS X :p

is it really wise to admit to doing illegal drugs?
I'm sure those with burgeoning political careers are avoiding the thread :D
Same here. Personally I think doing the other stuff is stupid. But thats just me.
No, you're totally right. All drugs are stupid. Why stick addictive substances into our bodies?

Probably because us humans aren't particularly clever ;)

Weed, salvia and (whenever we get around to it) laughing gas.

I am still sane, I don't seem to pose a threat to the general public and I'm pretty sure I don't fund terrorism. My dog never spoke to me about any of this though, I guess that would change my view

None..too much of a control freak and my D.A.R.E. officer in elementary school scared the poop outta me.

I've tried marijuana a couple of times many years ago. Total waste of time.

I've tried salvia a couple of times many years ago, also. Didn't even trip.

Because of those experiences above, I've always wanted to try LSD and shrooms. I've always wanted to know what it feels like to truly go on a trip.

Alcohol, if you consider it a drug, is the only one I consume now, even though I hesitate to call it "regularly" - I only drink alcohol maybe 4-5 times a year.

Well, and caffeine of course, but I don't consider that a drug. It is found in chocolate, FFS.

(And to those reading this decades in the future looking for something to tarnish my Presidential campaign - suck it.)

Demerol, aspirin, tylenol, Vicodin are just about it.:) Demerol and Vicodin were prescribed of course.

Coffee and a rare beer these days are about as daring as I get.

Give me a break - my teen years were in the '70's.....

Disturbing

I never did any drugs nor do I intend do. Only once long time ago I almost killed myself with too much whisky. After that it has been pretty much the random beer and 2 times tea. I am after Zen/Mediation so I could be "on a trip" all the time and that will actually be good for me - so far I have reduced my body pain, my muscles are more relaxed than ever and I have gone from infrequent depression to almost none.

But I find it disturbing that so many people claim doing drugs - is it so easy to get the stuff in the country where you live? What would you guys/gals have done if drugs were not so easily accessible? The doctor prescribed drugs seem to me are almost as dangerous as the illegal ones w.r.t their ability to hook you and their side effects.

I pity the kids really who are not able to make sane choices - if instant relief is so easily available you wouldn't blame them for trying out. Makes me think I should pack my bags and kids and go live in a cave or something! Or may be I should just educate them early on.
