I’m curious, would a fan of God of War, Uncharted, Batman & Horizon Zero Dawn find much new in this game? Is it really another home run PS4 exclusive that brings an innovative combat experience?
I'm with the others... best game I have played in a long time.

I recently completed assassins creed odyssey. The “ultimate” edition

I’ve never enjoyed any Assassins Creed game before, always found them clunky, confusing, annoying, over long and just rinse and repeat gameplay.

This was no different. Clunky controls. Annoying. Very very very long and same thing over and over again, but with an RPG lite twist to the gameplay.

Yeah it does look quite clunky in motion with a very gamey HUD. I also found the 300-esque intro really cringeworthy. As if the original movie wasn't enough of that.... :) Didn't like dialogue and music either. The comparison with Ghost of Tsushima sealed the deal. Shame, the ship combat seemed to be actually interesting and overall it seems to look a little sharper, less of those blurry textures.

Replaying Uncharted 4 at the moment. Are there any tips to make the camera behave a little nicer than the defaults? I keep adjusting it but it feels sort of sluggish no matter what and makes me kinda blind going into encounters, rather unaware of what's going on around me.

Currently playing: The Witcher 3, after Final Fantasy 7 Remake, The Last of Us 2 & Ghost of Tsushima, the time has finally come to tackle this backlog behemoth.

Starting over with Days Gone on PS4. Solid game with some wonky controls. Doesn't feel right using R2 for melee. Probably because I've been hacking folks with a katana using square and triangle for the last couple of weeks in Ghost of Tsushima.

Ni No Kuni (on the PS4)

It's not the masterpiece it is hyped to be. However it's very good. On par with the sequel (which is not as bad as people claim). Both games have their flaws, though different ones. I like both equally. I played the sequel last year and finished that and now I'm going through the first game.

Got lucky and scored a switch from Best Buy online. Playing Super Mario Odyssey. Enjoying it so far. Also picked up Mario Kart...
Any other recommendations for games?
Also will this micro SD card work?

Just picked up Far Cry 4 for $6 on the xbox sale. Started playing that last night, it's my first time playing a Far Cry game. Liking it so far. The one thing I have to get used to is the movement. The guy moves super fast all the time.

Luigi’s Mansion 3
Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Zelda: Link’s Awakening
New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe
Paper Mario: The Origami King

Pikmin 3 Deluxe (scheduled for an Oct
30th release. )

There’s also supposed to be a Mario collection released soon as part of the whole Mario 35th Anniversary thing. It’s Switch remasters of Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy. According to rumour, it will be out in time for Christmas.

That card should work fine.

The last game I played was the last of us 2. I thought it was impossible to surprise me anymore. But this is the most amazing game I've ever played.

Write who played how many games in their life
I have over 80 so for sure

Oh jeez, impossible to even estimate... My first systems were a Game Boy and a Super Nintendo, and I have owned every Playstation generation. Plus some games I played on PC, that covers A LOT of games...

Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Zelda: Link's Awakening
Super Mario U Deluxe
The Donkey Kong Country games
Cadence of Hyrule

I heard Splatoon was nice.

If you're not limiting yourself to first party games, there are plenty of great 3rd party games as well (many of them also on Steam), such as Bloodstain: Ritual of the Night, Dead Cells, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime.

I started The Witcher 3 and now they announced the game will get free upgrades to the next gen platforms with faster loading times... Should I stop playing and wait for the next gen improvements? (got loads of other games waiting like Death Stranding and Days Gone for example)

For any other person I would say wait. My worry with you is that you'll come up with an excuse not to play it when PS5 comes out and you'll miss out on an awesome game. :D

lmao, I'm not coming up with excuses :p I've started it, but now the news came it'll get a free next gen bump with ray-tracing, faster loading and stuff...

And now I'm thinking: what if I start Death Stranding for example, and they announce a free PS patch. *sigh* It's always a weird time for a gamer when the next gen is about to hit...

Easy in my case. I will be busy with TLOU2 and Tony Hawk at least until PS5 launches. 😄 And if not, I can always continue Skyrim or start Breath of the Wild.

Witcher 3 is one of the best ever RPGs IMO. I found it painful for the first hour or two, but soon I was familiar with the character building, controls etc.

Up there with RDR2 IMO.

If a next gen console is on your radar is would wait. if you’re going to be holding off on a next gen console then I would get started, it’s exceptionally good.

You are definitely a wise person that @BlankStar should listen to!
