Picked up Uncharted 4 again last night, made it to chapter 16. Story took an interesting turn.

I am enjoying this SOOO much more now that I have a PS4 that doesn't sound like a jet engine taking off in the background. I'm even starting to wonder if I should restart this game from the beginning, because some of the experience was really ruined by my old loud PS4. :(

Last: Dark Souls 3
Current: Star Wars Battlefront Death Star DLC
Next: Dark Souls 3 Ashes of Ariandel DLC

Played the snot out of DS3 in spring. Beat everything including optional bosses, but left final boss as I did not want to trigger NG+ before tackling the DLC. Though I guess now you have the option to start NG+ later, unlike previous
Souls-Borne games. At this point, going to wait to beat final boss after beating the next DLC coming out end of this month. Only 3 weeks away, WOOT!. Love DS3, such a great game and you really get your money's worth.

Had grandiose plans to play Uncharted Series 1-4 this summer, but was so busy with vacations and other hobbies, I never got around to it. Thus, it remains in my backlog. Didn't play any video games over the summer at all.

Recently picked up Battlefront Season Pass on sale, mostly to play the Death Star DLC. There are limited modes, Blast, Fighter Squadron, and Battlestation. The later is a three part playlist, Take out a Star Destroyer, Rescue R2D2, and blow up Death Star as rebels, or prevent as empire. So far, it's really fun. I'm starting to actually get decent at flying space craft. Most of my experiences before was in Walker Assault air to ground attacks, where I'd always crash. It's more fun now that I am geting the hang of it. I haven't tried the other DLC yet (Outer Rim and Bespin), except to pick up some of the Hutt Contracts.

Battlefront is fun, but gets boring pretty quick. I see myself playing for another week or so, but might try something different to hold me over until DS3 DLC. Considering Overwatch, but only if I can get it on sale. We'll see.

I finished up Rise of the Tomb Raider last night. The game started out really fun but ended up getting stale towards the end. The combat was uninspired. It was mostly just waves of enemies rushing at you or poking their heads out from behind cover allowing for very easy headshots. The stealth sections which were a lot of fun, silently picking off guys 1 by 1, but that was the end of that if you got spotted as it was impossible to hide from them again. Weapon upgrades were pretty much pointless. I got real sick of all the random collectibles scattered everywhere so I tried to ignore all those and barrel through the final 1 or 2 chapters to just get the game over with.

I'm thinking I'll start on DOOM (2016) next!

If you got bored with the repetition of ROTT, Doom 2016 will drive you mental ... ;)

Gears of War 4
Halo 5

Kind of drifting away from Black Ops 3...the season is up and with my friends losing interest I don't really have much motivation to play anymore. Though with double XP week coming up I'm probably going to make another push for master prestige.

I've made some decent progress in DOOM - in the Argent tower now - and so far I'm having a blast. But, I love DOOM. I've played the hell outta DOOM II. Sure it's repetitive but there's something so, so satisfying about pulverizing countless demons with a super shotgun :D

Same here! Have to admit that I didn't finish it (yet) but am fairly at the end until something in real life intervened and then something else..you now the drill. :D
But absolutely loved it. Could have done with a wee bit more linear action imo compared to the arena fights but all in all no complaints.

Pondering whether I should give Shadow WarriorII "a shot". Steam reviews are great and looks like something entertaining. Unfortunately I can't get back into Battlefront. Shame.

But, I love DOOM.

Sorry to quote you twice on this but I think you should really take a look at Shadow Warrior 2. Having a real blast rigth now with that little gem. Not sure if you are playing on consoles - in that case you may have to wait a couple of months I believe.

I would call it the bastard child of DOOM (straight up shooter, no nonsens, fast paced action, chainsaw), Borderlands (no arena fights, open worldish, RPGish elements but no annoying micromanagement), Duke Nukem (humor) and Diablo (procedual level design) plus you play a ninja!! :D
What's not to like?!

I finished Uncharted 1-4 and had a great time. I actually played Uncharted 1 twice already I think I like it the best even though 4 really pushed the game visuals they're all basically the same play style.

Now I'm playing The Order: 1886. I like the visuals and story but it's not without its flaws.

Playing through Ratchet & Clank - Going Commando on the PS2. Beautiful graphics, buttery smooth 60FPS, and awesome, hilarious (in a good way) voice work and story telling. Well done, Insomniac!

That reminds me, after finishing Ratchet on the PS4, I was so impressed I posted a WTB of PS3 Ratch titles here. Surprisingly a member responded and I bought two. Didn't even get to it yet lol. I'm actually playing Zelda Link to the Past right now, which the last time I played was on the SNES itself MANY years back. Was planning on replaying Link Between Worlds in the 3DS after.

I'm back on Bloodborne, working on that last trophy. Cursed and defiled chalice dungeon is a bitch. That second Watchdog boss is hard as hell, and having your health bar cut in half doesn't help!

Finally beat him last night though and made my way to the third layer boss, Amygdala. I think after that, I only have one more chalice to go through. I got the second red jelly in NG+ in the lecture building, so I think I can skip one chalice. :p

You are a gluten for punishment ...

Caved in and bought BF1 - so far it's awesome. Played a bit the campaign and was pleasantly surprised.
Finally having a good and popular multiplayer FPS will help too. Love the setting and atmosphere, but this will likely be my last purchase for some time now.. :D

that game looks awesome, i have a thing for retro looking army games so this game is perfect

I rebought Mordor GOTYE last month on the XB1 after having it back in 2014 on PS4. Can't believe a sequel hasn't been announced yet, the game still remains one of the best action titles this generation. Played through it all obsessively again and completed it and it's DLC.

Then noticed it on sale on PSN and given its getting a 4K PS4 Pro update, I bought it again .... will wait till I get my PS4 pro before jumping back in, and looking forward to it.

Surprised other games haven't copied the Nemesis system either.

I picked up Mordor as well on the psn sale. I'm currently playing Tomb Raider 2013 but after that I have big decisions to make for next. Mordor, Bloodborne, TLOU, DA:I

I finished DOOM this weekend. AWESOME!!! I loved it. Crazy fast action, great weapons, bad ass bosses. The easter eggs I managed to find were great - I LOLed at the Skyrim reference. The big arena battles never got boring for me. I looked forward to every one - just chaotic, non-stop, meat grinders - i.e.) RPG that hell knight, shotgun that imp then glory kill it, chainsaw the pinky rushing towards you, spin around BFG everything in the way, grab that power up n chain gun the cacodemons!! I tried to play some BF4 multiplayer last night and it felt so slooooooooooooooow....

TLOU for sure.
