i do wish in timeout you could log in but not post just so you could contact a moderator
as it is now once you are in timeout, you cant get any feedback whatsoever

I usually read the offenders last few posts to try to figure out why they were put in time-out. I usually can't find the offending post, are they usually deleted?

Moderators can be contacted even if you aren't logged in via the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of the site.

If a user deserves to be in Time-Out, then they usually have had the offending posts deleted.

Not that I'm an expert or anything, but I think that the posts that caused the time out are usually worthy of deletion.
