Bose QC35s. Absolutely awesome for their price point and arguably have the best in class noise cancellation. They last forever too.

I just found AirPods to be too much like EarPods (well no ****) that they killed my ears after a little while of prolonged use.

some Bose QC35 (series II) when travelling or at home, and a cheapish pair of BT in-ear phones when out running/at the gym. I may pick up a pair of the wireless Shure SE 215s to replace the latter though.

Beats x as my stock wired EarPods replacement.

I also have a different set for working out.

Sony 1000XM2s, great sound quality and according to the reviews the best noise cancelling headphones currently in the market.

I also use Anker's SoundsBuds Slim when I can't carry my 1000XM2s with me.

Do these need to have a seal to produce decent sound? Once I start sweating I can't get a seal anymore and drives me crazy.

No, but I like the fit with the ear clips for when I do cardio. I don't like a tight seal for the gym. They're still loud enough.

I've had a couple of Powerbeats 2, and I was torn between the 3 and the Jaybird X3 Sport. But that new way of charging it made me hesitant and go with the 3.

Sennheiser Momentum 2 for wired.

Beats Studio3 for wireless.

Tempted to pick up some AirPods for my mobile office use.

Have you ever tried making phone calls with the beats studio 3? How do they sound?

Unfortunately I have not, I have zero service at the gym I lift at, but, I'll definitely make sure to make a call with them today and get back to you.

Thanks! I know people have said bluetooth headphones sound horrible to the person on the other end when people make phone calls, was hoping the studio 3's would be better.

desk use: earpods (circa 5S) w/adapter
gym use: Plantronics Backbeat FIT
