I'm reading this and I think we have a serious issue on our hands. Maybe I should start apple nuts anonymous.

So you are telling me you wouldn't do a death pact with your iP4 and jump off a cliff?

I bet you would...
That is your assumption. And last I heard, assumption is the mother of all f--- ups.

Just because I thoroughly enjoy a product doesn't make me a fanboy. I own multiple phones. Look at by previous post, I speak very highly of Android and looking into getting a Nexus One when Gingerbread impresses. Fanboys is for insecure losers who have a myopic view of technology. When video game console wars happened, I bought them all because each one is good at certain things that the other might lack.

But "Apple fan" haters want to assume something that isn't there. LMAO! They want to assume just because iPhone dies, we who enjoy the product just because it is should die with it. I personally don't even like Steve Jobs or Apple's philosophy, but that assumption is just as bad as these whiners on here.

So you wouldn't jump? Not even a little bit? Go on just give it a little jump, a test jump if you will.

If Apple stopped selling the iPhone, I would have to seriously weigh the pros and cons of both Android and WebOS and make a tough decision. Of course, I would first use the iPhone untill it would no longer function.

I mean all of this nonsense is going to upset jobs and he is going to pull the plug. Then people would have nothing to whine about. It might up the suicide rate though.

These cult figures tend to spike the Koolaid when it is time to catch the flying saucer to the next galaxy.

Remember, it isn't a phone, it is a ticket to another planet. :p

Totally agree. With the billions of dollars made on this piece of garbage product, they are most DEFINITELY pulling the plug.

Kind of a dumb question but probably go back to Blackberry. It has served me well the last 2 years.

I wonder who is the bigger jackass and more arrogant? Steve Jobs or the ones who hate Steve Jobs? (a man these haters probably never met).

Who knew Consumer Reports has now become the word of the Lord? NYTimes must be Gospel then!

People trying to bring down some ruthless Emperor where they are just as closed-minded themselves with all their blind HATE toward Apple. You can't force anyone to like what YOU like anymore than if Jobs wanted you to buy Apple products.

When will people understand that lovers and haters of a company are part of the same hypocrisy? Just on opposite spectrums. A love or hate that blinds them to ever think rationally...

The iphone 4 is very nice I would hate to see apple stop making them. But you never know?

LOL !!!! Yeah ok I think AT&T would tank way before Verizon.

But without the iPhone in this fictional stroyline, people would be leaving AT&T in droves and going to Verizon...since they are no longer confined to AT&T by their choice of phone. This will put a similar drain on Verizon that AT&T had with the iPhone and what would be the result is that AT&T would have a wide-open and extremely fast network while Verizon would be experiencing the dropped calls and data issues.

With no iPhone...or opening the iPhone up to other companies, there will be no company that 'tanks'...sure AT&T would be losing money in the short term, but consumers would eventually see that their (AT&T) wide-open network is the place to be again and things will balance out.

yeah, jobs caught wind that geohot quit jailbreaking scene, so he got so upset over it that he's pulling the plug on the iphone tomorrow.

The people crying about this phone are like the tea party. Except the tea party are less extreme.

I found this funny :D .... You propose the "extreme" idea that after a few issues and bad PR "a" company will quite that business (and in this case kill the largest cash cow they have at the moment)??? it is like saying MS will quite after Windows ME, or after Windows vista, etc. and them...you call the people reacting to such a idiotic and extreme idea ...."more extreme than then tea party" .....

One day they will
