Same, I got caught in the hype of the "gold" coming back. This phone is not gold. Going back to black next year.Replying to my own answer here. After owning the desert color for a few weeks I must say I will choose black again next time.
Black is a great choice...think men will gravitate to it more than women might.
That said, mine is flawless...I you move between environments that are hot and cold, you may see
some smudge-like traces... but I look for them after a while and they're gone.
I stuck a very minimalist Benks kevlar case on it without screen protector and it looks just great...black
on black is a great combo. Discreet. 😎

As someone who goes caseless..I went with the Black Titanium this year (had the natural titanium last year). Surprisingly, even though this is the best “black” Apple has put on a pro phone in years I kinda miss the natural titanium…Black is sleek for sure, but kind of boring and shows a lot more oil, dust, etc than the natural. Anyone else feeling this?
Was going to get the white 16 Pro until I saw the black one in the store. It was way more sleek and dark than I expected so I went with the black.
I’ve been going back and forth. After using the Max for a few days, I’m settled on going back to the Pro. I used to only use the big phones but this year the pro really shines and feels best to me. I’m sticking with the natural pro.
- Started with desert titanium, didn't like it at all.
- Tried natural titanium, really liked it, but curious about the black one.
- Tied black titanium, really really liked it, thought i was staying here, until...
- Saw my friend's white titanium and holy **** that looks clean, so now I settled on white titanium.
Curious how the Desert Titanium Pro is the least popular at the moment, but Desert Titanium Pro Max is the most. I wonder why this would be.
Oh is that the case!? Interesting. First thought that comes in mind is that pro max users don’t mind to flash the unit a bit, especially with the latest colour. While pro users, already picking a smaller more manageable and modest size, want to be a bit more stealthy? Clearly just speculating here.
Great question. My first choice was the natural titanium color, but I ended up getting my iPhone 16 Pro Max in desert titanium.
Desert was my choice and I quite like it but the white would have been my second choice this year.
On my 14PM which was 512gb, I was coming close to using it all so when my husband got me the 16P I asked to get the 1Gb to be sure (hopefully) it’ll last lol. I take a lot of pictures of my 3 labs and family/grand daughters

That is a lot of storage space, Pink. I don’t keep enough items on my iPhone to ever come close to using that amount of space….
