Other What iPhone 17 Model & Color Are You Getting?

I think I am going to get the 17 Pro Max in Orange. I am upgrading from a 13 Pro.

I am upgrading from the 13 iPhone Pro Sierra Blue but I don't like the new Deep Blue color and my iPhone 6S that I still have is in Silver, all the other iPhones that I have used and are still in their original boxes are black so I think I will go with the orange one. It looks good to be honest and it's growing on me.

Still debating between Air or Pro Max. Normally go with black which I’d probably choose for the Air.

Never thought I’d like it but the cosmic orange pro max is growing on me

I am debating on the color of the Pro and the storage..... I have till Friday to decide before preordering begins.

iPhone 17 in sage. 50 grams lighter than my 16 PM.

Next year I'll get the folding iPhone.

If I upgrade, I will probably get the 17 air. I really don't see the need or appeal for the Standard Iphone 17.

Vanilla iPhone has superior speakers, battery life, and cameras. And cheaper to boot.

Hard to believe no Black in the Pro models
If I remember correctly years ago there was a ‘chip gate ‘ issue with the anodized black color
Maybe that’s the reason

I am unhappy with the colour choices also. The 17 PM in Cosmic Orange is both repulsive and attractive at the same time. I recoiled when I first saw it in the Apple Event however I am now beginning to warm to it.

I have a Samsung Z Flip 3. Looks like it is giving up. Planning on shifting from that to the base 17. Not yet decided.

Very happy with Orange for Pro Max and disappointed with base model colors and extremely disappointed with colors on the Air.

It’s the complete opposite for me. Cosmic Orange is ghastly looking at first, but, it could end up becoming the colour I choose. I’ll have to see it in person.

The 17 lineup is strong, in my opinion. I love both the Black and Sage offerings. Sage especially!

Sad to say but the unibody design makes it look REALLY dated. It seriously makes the pros look like they have "a case" on it already. SMH. And no black choice is just bonkers.

The cynic in me is inclined to think Apple wanted to make the Pro iPhones cheaper to make, so they could keep the retail prices the same (to offset tariffs?).

To do this, they moved back to aluminium and then used sleight-of-hand distractions with colour, the two-tone design shock, and waffling about cooling to get people to not think about that.

I'd love to know how much the 17 Pros cost to build compared to X-16 Pro models. I'd guess less.
