To me back in the day the closet is deadbolt and at bar across the door is higher class of neighborhood! I once had what was a home intruder trying to kick the door in one night! it caused me to wakeup and get my kitchen knife and I heard him scream shouting to his friends he could kick the door down! Luckily there was a disturbance call one floor down and they cameup and witnessed them trying to kick down my door and arrested them!

Schlage electronic. Had separate codes for different people/services so I know who came in and when. Could lock/unlock the door remotely.
Battery powered I assume, with backup key? I have Schlage deadbolts requiring keys on both sides of the lock, but resisted electronic because I don’t want to mess with batteries for it. I’d imagine a wifi lock would drain the power relatively quickly if running on batteries?

Correct, used 4 AAs. Usually lasted 6-9 months. I would change them before leaving on long trips (2+ months).

Any consumer lock can be picked in a few minutes by someone who watched a youtube video and has a couple of paperclips.
