although everything looks very possible in this page,

add a powerful LED screen in it!!! NOT LCD, but LED!!!!

like the SAMSUNG OMNIA HD that shoots 720p video!, that would be insane!!!:)

I wouldn't mind seeing better WIFI built in the new iPod Touch

Like Type "N"

It would be nice but I think that would drain the battery a lot faster. Perhaps in maybe in another year when they're able to get newer chips with less energy consumption.

missing everything the zii egg has and a larger screen. I can fit an extra inch of screenage in my pocket.

I can't wait until flex oled comes out in the market it would be cool if the touch could fold out into a 6" screen

Better Bluetooth. My Touch with 3.0 on it has the poorest performing bluetooth I've ever experienced.

That big screen begs to be used as a viewfinder for a camera/video camera.

Better codec support. I want to throw FLAC and OGG music files on there, as well as AVI, FLV, and any other video file format I come across.

A better audio decoder. No reason the new Touch shouldn't be loved by audiophiles too.

Fingerprint-proof body and screen.

GREAT earphones. Not the standard crap that comes on every ipod.

Noise cancelling would be nice.

I dont think there is any chance on us getting a Card slot, but personally I would love for them to put an SDXC slot on it. The problem is that getting more space is a big reason to get a new Ipod Touch a card interface would hurt that.

Totally agree with you Tig ;)

None of the players that come in different memory models come with memory slots. They want you to just buy a model with more capacity if you need more space. 32gb SDHC cards can be had for about $35 now. Yet Apple makes $100 for selling you a 32gb Touch over a 16gb Touch. No way they'll give up that profit potential.

Totally agree... None of the iPods have memory slots, but for instance, the Creative Zen does...

That doesn't mean that it is correct to have one, but it is a nice feature to have. Apple does not have an SD slot for exactly what you mentioned - It's a pure business decision. But, on the whole, I would like an SD slot, and more or less... know Apple's present stance on this - It's not going to happen!

It really works out for Apple more than anyone else :(

How about a better battery?

Say, instead of charging your ipod touch every other day, how about every week? Wouldn't that be awesome? Apple could call it the Ipod Touch 3G P, P as in Power.

Camera is nice, but it will probably add a significant amount of bulk to the device.

I'm all for GPS.

I think what is missing is a consumer abuse sensor...:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I hope this is intended solely for the iPhone, but I have a feeling they will be doing it more often to their high-end products...

Yes, I think it is coming to the Touch in a year or two (pending patent approval) :(

Here is a link to the Patent [20090195394] http://appft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-...394.PGNR.&OS=DN/20090195394&RS=DN/20090195394

I love my 2nd generation ipod touch. If I wanted it to have anymore features it would probably be: A camera/video camera, microphone, maybe an option to pay a monthly fee and get 3g just like an iPhone.
