because my 3gs is ready to pass and there isn't a phone out currently that can compare in quality.

1) No Android. Sick of their market that is filled with crap. Phone lags, crashes, or automatically restarts a lot.
2) Siri is a lot cooler than I thought it was going to be.
3) Don't use the camera much, but it's definitely the nicest on any phone.
4) iOS is just fluid and nice looking.
5) Touchscreen is still the best of any other phone.
6) When adding music you don't have to sit there and edit outdated tags like you do for Android.

I'm buying my daughter's love with an early Christmas present.

What happened to the days when you can just get love by taking your child to get ice cream, now we have to help them compete with everything else out there.

I was going to give my early upgrade to my 16 year old son, then looked at him after hearing the specs and said Nah, his 4 is only a year old, he can wait until April 1 2012, besides he has a 16GB 4 and wants my 32GB 4 so problems solved and I was being greedy getting the new 4S for myself :D

My wife was finally out of her Sprint contract, so I added a line to get the new phone and give her my 4.

I have a 3G now, and it's getting rather old and slow. I want all the cool new sensors they added in the 3GS and 4. Facetime and Siri are Important Things that I want to support, just as a tech/scifi geek. I want to be able to do multitasking, as well, since my 3G can't. Having a (much!) better camera would be sweet too. Last but certainly not least, I want to do development for iOS 5, and I need a test unit for that.

For those on the 3GS and other smart phones it makes sense getting it...for those on the 4? nah not worth it.

1) SIRI! At first I was unimpressed, but after watching the keynote.... amazing! Don't know how much I will actually use it after the newness wears off, but I imagine it will only continue to grow.

And, I love the "Set my alarm for 4:45 am tomorrow." I wonder how long it will take before I just trust it. I imagine I will be verifying for awhile.

2) Faster Processor

3) I can sell my 4 and make more money than its costing me to buy the 4S

4) Graphics Processor

5) Camera

Well I had skipped the iPhone 4 upgrade so I'm still on a 3GS. I wanted the 64GB (ordered the white one!) because I like to keep favorite movies on board, plus books, photos, PDFs, back issues of some magazines and a changing roster of music playlists. The better camera on the 4S will be a bonus when I'm documenting my work in the studio or previewing fabric combinations for a new project. The 3GS camera got the essence of the job done as far as jogging my memory later on, but it doesn't do well in poor lighting.

1) Better camera and hd video (my iPhone 4 has the green color in the center when taking photos indoors).
2) Siri
3) twice the speed
4) better reception as I do have dropped calls and bad reception from the iPhone 4.

Because I have an EVO 3D and it is the worst phone I have owned. It's big bulky and unreliable.

The iPhone 4S is my first iPhone.

I sold my iPhone 4 in preparation for the 5....... Well obviously I now need a phone and android doesn't interest me, so 4s it is........
Plus it is good to have the latest gen to test out apps we're working on :D
